  • My Dad got quite annoyed when I rattled through the code and increased my cash etc.

Basic...... so simple a child can understand. :)

  • Thank you. Just realised it was 30 years ago! Ouch.. I tried everything to get that genie sorted out - thanks for telling me where I went wrong all those years ago. Amazing I had to wait for the internet to come along to find help in order to solve it!

    Cheers!

  • Did anyone ever work out how to get the lamp from the genie, who I think was located on a moon or something? 25 years later that is STILL bugging me!

  • @007Knack That was actually the sequel, Return of the Ring. I haven't finished it since the old days, but I think the answer turned out to be something a bit lame. You were carrying an empty bottle (from somewhere) and you'd "Drop Bottle" and the genie would just go into it and be trapped. That's to the best of my recollection anyway!

  • @007Knack Don't know but it reminds me that there was a 'forest moon' 3D-maze aspect in the game Return of the Ring... sequel to Ring of Darkness I suspect.

  • lol, the very first rpg i ever played, i remember killing the jester to get the key, then it was 50/50 if it was the correct key to rescue the princess for loads of gold etc, game used to take about 10 mins to load on cassette. retro for sure lol

world of warcraft nowadays, how things have changed :)

  • So many happy memories, thank you. So many nights down the dungeon trying not to get my intelligence points sucked out of me. The sequel was even better. But the third Juxtaposition was poor. Cheers Ian
