  • that was awesome!

  • Nice cover :D

  • Are Alphas Or Paiste 2002 series better? i use the 2002 series but these sound great too? anyone please help?

  • @xXaggiesXx23 Really it comes down to personal preference. I would rather have 2002 than Alpha's. 2002 are of higher standards than the Alphas.

  • @drumsticks135 Thanks, you're really good too. but thanks. I do like my 2002's but those sound great too

  • perfect

  • awesome as bro!!! your drums sound mint as (:

  • Hi! I'm from Italy... I would like to buy a set of Paiste Alpha cymbals... what do you use? Rock, Medium or what of this series? Could you send me the list of your cymblas? Thanx, and excuse me for english!!! And compliments for drumming!! rock'n'roll guy!

  • @BeppeP80 In this video i was using Paiste alpha cymbals (from left to right): 14" medium hi hats, 16" medium crash, 18" medium crash, 21" groove ride, and a paiste 802 18" china. Thanks for you comment!

  • NICE!!!

  • nice duble kick ive got a pdp tobacko to turbofade, duble kick, and custom high hat to fit the kick

  • u know wat would suck , IF u accidentally knocked off one of the mics.XD but u didnt so ..

  • thxx man now i can play this perfectly

  • nice outro

  • Awesome cover dude!!

  • how much did you get your paiste 802 for?

  • It's hard to say because I got those for free ha I'm guessing the splash was probably around $70, china around $130. But I actually just sold all my Paiste's and have Sabian HHX's now : ) When I get a new cover up, they will be in it.

  • a damn good cover bro, keep up the good work

and the funny thing is that my friend is using this video to learn how to play the drums haha

so i guess some may say great tutorial? haha

  • oh my fucking god your so good how long did it take you to learn how to play chop suey on the drums

  • @hacker336 its really kinda how long, or how much you play is the way i kinda see it. it only took me a couple run throughs, but then again i've been playin for almost 5 years, and almost non stop lol.

  • @hacker336 5 days for me

  • dude ur effin awesome

  • what did you use to record the sound

  • Mics into mixer, to computer, recorded in garage band

  • I really like your snare man, how did u get that pop? sounds like u got the heads tight. seems like u barely have to strike it to get that pop lol.

  • I'm not really sure ha I just have both heads tight i guess

  • @drumsticks135 ah, ok man thanks :)

  • @drumsticks135 for me I took some clear tape and taped the snare wire to get the sound I like

  • @DJACIDIC ur right there is a cool pop mine im gonna tighten mine c if it works

  • spinning symbols

  • I like how you add double-bass at the end ...it was cool. I really hate when people overuse it but you did good.

  • Great job !!!!! your a natural !!!!

  • Great job , keep at it !!!!!

  • i like the double bass substitute towards the end. smooth

  • Awesome!

  • A little too many kicks.

    But other than that.

    Perfect!

  • Hey, great cover, sorry but what is your opinion of the paiste groove ride? Thank you, Jack :)

  • Good but it lacks soul!

  • that double bass was amazing

  • nice what type of symbols do you have are they the customs and were did u get them

  • They are paiste Alpha's. Check the video info for specifics

  • Nice 5

  • shiny cymbals (y)

  • NOOOO!!! why did u use double bass!?!?! nice cover anyway good luck !

  • Comment removed

  • im auditioning this for my taslent show next year.

  • how are those alphas treating you?

  • I like them for the most part. the crashes are pretty feel-sensitive. By that I mean they don't have the soft crash feel, you kinda have to lay into them to get a nice sound but they have a pretty decent sound

  • ohhh nice cymbals ha...

  • 0:27 - 0:31 love that part

  • Very good! is that paiste Brilliant crash on the left?

  • u got those new paiste alphas?:P

  • @TylerXProductions finally someone with sense, thank you i guess...... and so true about what u said, doesn't matter how fast you go.....

  • ha i love the little end part haha good job yo!

  • nice cover. awesome set.

  • cool

  • You can't hear your snare during the "wake up"/chorus part. Should maybe work on hitting harder...

  • @Abbottx91 You can't hear it in the song either. He's playing ghost notes.

  • @DylanLFS

I'm aware there are ghost notes present but you actually hear them in the song. You can't hear your ones at all. ^_^

  • Hey bro, you play very sweet!!!

i want see you playing toxicity yeahhh

  • amazing cover dude! :)

  • Why do you hide your face?

    Nobodied gonna stalk you bro.

    XD

  • i will

    mwahahahha

  • you're creepy lol

  • thanks ;)

  • hows the 802 china, im about to buy 1 but i cant really hear it in the vid. thx

  • eh... I don't really like it that much.. I want to get either a zildjian oriental trash or zildjian china low

  • thanks for reply,

    i got a 20" 2002 like 2 weeks ago which is godly.

abit too late for me, ive already put a bid towards the cymbal. oh well, it would be nice to own a 802 :)

  • @drumsticks135 u should get the oriental they have better sound also i have them and i am thinking of uploading a drum cover of chop suey but it will probably not be as good as urs

  • Do you like ur cymbals ?

  • Eh I've certainly played better, but compared to my old ones I'm pretty satisfied with them. I dislike the hi hats the most. I kind of wish I would have gotten the groove hi hats..

  • amazing

  • great

  • wat kind of kit is that?

  • mapex m birch, read the desc.

  • Love those Alphas!

  • what drums do you have to let you do the drum intro? 0:15 If you just bought them seperatly, what atachments did you buy

  • I believe he has (I don't play drums, I'm a bassist but I'm really into music and band theory) a high tom and two seperately tuned low toms. Hope that helps, again I don't play drums so don't quote me on it.

  • i think your right, im gonna test it out later tyvm!

  • its cool how u added ur own little thing

  • yeah jazz is one of the best out there

  • yes i agree and ur not one because at least you understand people have their own opinions which is techincally my point because people dont see peoples opinion so that is techincally my opinion so no hard feelings

  • Hey, I couldn't agree with you more. I am also a love of funk and jazz :p

  • Hell yea if people dont like double bass well u have absolutely NO TASTE in music that means you're just a dumbass posuer! And besides double bass makes it more interesting and is the key to METAL AND ROCK MUSIC

  • @gundamfan100 Again, your the poser if you think someone has to like double bass to be a good drummer or to have taste in music.

I bet you think Joey Jordison is the best drummer ever too...

  • @Ramen1020 uhhh did u read the rest of the convo? and no i dont think that there are others that are better than joey jordison and second double bass isnt always everything i dont think double bass makes music good i said its a good part for that section of the song but its what i think....so lay off

  • The sound of your tom-toms are awesome, the kit is great! From the cymbals I don't like the hihat, the crashes are really nice :) Well played cover, keep it up! What do you use to record it ?

  • Can't believe I sat through all that to hear the china, and you didn't even fucking hit it!! Good job though mn

  • great cover!!

    nice alphas

  • Nice alphas. I have a few black alphas but uh... yeah.. i think i'm gonna stick with normal ones from now on xD

Sounds good. Nice double bass too :P

  • How do u add the audio in and also keep the sound of ur original video in it??? also when i made my video it souded like shit... how do i change that?

  • there is no audio from my camera on this. I recorded the sound through my mixer and computer, and video by itself (with no audio)

  • ya ya ya, ppl got their own opionions :p ur not a fag lol

  • fucking awsum mate!! i love your cymbals, i got a set of paiste alphas aswell!

  • ok all the fags that say they dont like the double bass....are...well....fags....because to me the double bass part sounds kooler than the actual song...Great job man. 5/5

  • that waz really good

  • Dont listen to them kid, I liked the double kick, covers aren't always about playing things note for note, thats just boring, keep adding your own favour.

  • well thank you! thats what i was trying to tell them..

  • have a point because covers are meant to play the song and enjoy it at the same time! hey and they're just jealous of your creativity man so dont take that bullshit

  • well at least he got the intro perfect. thats the best part. it sounds so cool

  • people who say this is a crap solo a stupid. i couldn't do this to save my life. 5/5

  • i saw so many mistakes it wasnt even funny. but other than that great drumming. keep it up.

btw my name is aaron to -_-

  • the double bass ruined the song to. he needed to focus on playing rather than trying to look cool

  • p.s. i wasn't trying to be cool i just like playing that part with double bass. Cover doesn't mean play it exactly how they do it, it indicates that i've added my own twist to it. so at least i was creative with it...

  • if it's so awful let's see you put one of it up better than mine?!!!

  • Like, i said: you're not a bad drummer. the double bass thing just wasn't cool.

I would love to post a video, but I don't have any mics and I'm not going to post a video with terrible quality sound.

  • fair enough. maybe i'll redo more accurately

  • then you must have an awful face then because covers are meant to be played where you are comfortable with and not note by note the point is to have fun with it and not forcefully play note by note unless you like it that way. and if you're so called "fan" then you should just let it be but if you care about the note by note then your just a terrible musician!

  • I never said anything about note for note. If he missed some ghost notes or something minor, then whatever. It's when you add something to the song that was never originally there. btw, are you 8 yrs old or what? awful face? terrible musician?

  • my ass im older than that but for example when youre playing live and you add something to a song theres nothing wrong with that because you have to make it more iinteresting

  • GREAT COVER UR AWSUM

  • what skin have you got on your snare?? because ive always wanted to get that sound on my snare and i never get it?

    GREAT COVER!!

  • nice lil solo at the end bro:P

  • the alpha cost about 150€ each one like 215 dolars

  • perfect!!!

    nice cover!!!

  • Can someone plzzz tell me what those cymbals r and how much their worth

  • look at the describtion

  • if u read the description its in there!

    their paiste alphas

  • They're Paiste Alpha series... google them for price

  • Yet another amazing cover.

  • what is the cost of all your cymbals?

Sorry for my bad English, I studying English, but I go in the half part of my English levels.

  • total: about $800

    hi hats: $200

    16" crash: $125

    18" crash: $150

    ride: $200

    china: $125

  • like your drum kit. great cover

  • dude you'r actually plsying it wrong

  • maybe, but at least i spell correctly.

  • I think you are playing it quite well. Just remember, the point of drum covers is to make it your own. The only reason I watch multiple covers of some songs is to see how drummers put their own spin on the original song.

Great cover, loved how you fit in the double-bass. I don't believe thre is any in the original recording.

    ROCK ON!!

    \m/

  • LOL

  • iwould have laughed if you'd infact spelt something wrong in that sentence

  • wow nice job i just learned the song by watching you your amazing

  • Great job! You just got me to learn Chop Suey! You did excelent! Kept going and never quit! You are gonna be famous some day!

  • double bass wasnt all that necessary a 2:00 to 2:35 but did make it sound cool.

  • doesn't the original have a double bass? It Sounded AWESOME!!!!!

  • 5 stars nice i like this are you in a band cuase u should beeeeee

  • nice

  • what drum mics do you use?

  • good cover man

    how are the alpha cymbals?

  • i like em man... what kind do you have now?

  • i have a shitty pair of b8s and they are pretty bad. im thinking of either getting a set of alpha hats stagg or a second hand pair of 15" avedis rock hats. i havent played on any of these hi hats have you got any opinion on these cymbals?

  • the staggs are too heavy for my taste , i never liked avedis , so alpha all the way xD

  • b8's are decent......

  • alpha are so fukin brilliant. great for all styles and dynamics. the 16" medium is absolutely insane. i love paiste!!x

  • u definatly won a new subscriber mate

  • Nice 5/5

  • yeah the 16 is great blends nice with my meinl mcs crash, but i wanted a slightly warmer sound so im gonna get the 18 also

  • yeah, i can agree with that. I mean, i really like the 16, but i like it a lot better with the 18.

  • i have the same kit except in 8x8 10x8 12x9 and 14x14 with a 12x5 snare, after seing this i had to buy a 16 alpha medium, now im gonna get the 18'

  • wait, so did you get the 16? and do you like it?

  • How is that kit treating you in those sizes? They are slightly odd (although not uncommon) intervals. I wondered if you could overly detect that in the sound between each drum. Also to anyone else, how is the new Mapex VXB, which seems more like the M Birch than Meridian Birch?

  • I'm happy with the tom sizes.. I just want add an 18" now ; )

P.S., i have no idea about the new mapex series..

  • Great execution!

My best regards!See my videos if you want!

    EVERYTHING IS MUSIC!

    WALTERTHEDRUMMER

  • what high hat do u have? can u please reply to me?

  • I have a pair of 14" Paiste alpha medium hi hats. they are $200 new.

  • Nice skills and equipment!

I have a question about your paiste 802 18" china. I want to buy one, but i heard in some rooms that it sound like crap. what is your opinion?

(PS: can u make a video, in which everybody can hear the original sound of you drumset? ;) )

  • i'm not sure if you got my response... but I like it... there are definitely better ones though.. um, probably not the best if you play harder metal.. I like 16" china's better than most 18s.. i would try it out for yourself though. but yes, sometime i'll get a video of my kit with dry audio.

  • i've had one for a few years, and I like it

like drumstick135 said, there ARE better ones out there, but if you can find one for a good price, i'd get it

I have a wuhan piggybacked on mine right now and it works pretty well

  • mapex and paiste, that's what I'm talkin about.

  • this song easy to play

  • your mom must be this song then. haha i'm kidding. but you're right...

  • check out my friend henrydafizif his uncle is john dolmayan.

  • love those alphas, gotta get me some

  • do it bro

  • your snare sounds amazing!

  • wow ur great do you have ur own band? =]

  • i love how u added the double bass lol amazing cover ur drums sound so sick

  • thanks!! i could've been a little tighter, but i haven't been double pedals for too long, maybe 5 months or so..

  • how long have you been playing for?

  • well i'm at my 4 year anniversary this month.

  • Your crashes are paiste alpha 16" and 18 " ? rock crashes ? medium crashes ?

  • Medium crashesss!
