These old bikes are surprisingly light. I got a 1975 yz 250 witht the monoshock and it weighs a little more than my 1990 cr80.

My Can-Am is pretty much a replica of Ellis' bike. '74 tnt 125 frame, for rod brake and up pipe, Everything else is mx1, replica of his pipe, and mx2 front forks.

These guys right here were the truth! Besides triples and tabletops this isnt a far cry from what a track looks like today yet these guys were pulling it off on tanks like these with about half of the suspension travel! Awesome, you gotta love it!

this was my life growing up. Marty Smith was my hero. I used to read MOTOX ACTION all the time. DeCoster was also my hero. I actually met DeCoster and BS'd with him for a few minutes, nice guy.

Man, this is some classic stuff. I didn't think this footage existed. I remember reading about this stuff when I was just 7 or 8 years old. I never thought I'd see it. Very cool.
