  • These old bikes are surprisingly light. I got a 1975 yz 250 witht the monoshock and it weighs a little more than my 1990 cr80.

  • My Can-Am is pretty much a replica of Ellis' bike. '74 tnt 125 frame, for rod brake and up pipe, Everything else is mx1, replica of his pipe, and mx2 front forks.

  • These guys right here were the truth! Besides triples and tabletops this isnt a far cry from what a track looks like today yet these guys were pulling it off on tanks like these with about half of the suspension travel! Awesome, you gotta love it!

  • this was my life growing up. Marty Smith was my hero. I used to read MOTOX ACTION all the time. DeCoster was also my hero. I actually met DeCoster and BS'd with him for a few minutes, nice guy.

  • Man, this is some classic stuff. I didn't think this footage existed. I remember reading about this stuff when I was just 7 or 8 years old. I never thought I'd see it. Very cool.

  • WoW ... I went to the first Superbowl of Motocross all though at the time I was to young to really appreciate it.

I miss those days. So many names.
