  • Herman Cain's response: "9 - 9 - 9!!!!!!!!!"

  • From what I have been reading today, it looks as though the charlatan statist Cain will be out of the race in a few days. Perhaps that's premature, but we'll see. I think Gingrich's 1-month ride should end right before Iowa.

Guys, let's focus out energy on Gingrich. Those who are voting for Romney know that he is a Democrat. There are a great many mainline R's who think Gingrich is a real conservative. He's the next target. Leave the Cain carcass in the street for the vultures. He's done.

  • Cain's answer will be: "I will fix everything with 9-9-9". Cain and the rest of the establishment puppets show how far down our country has fallen. If any of the candidates needs Secret Service protection it is Ron Paul. The establishment loves the rest of the field. We must protect Dr. Paul, he is our only hope!

  • I hate u Tom woods. I was eating my cereal and I almost choked and milk came out my nose. Lol that last statement was hilarious

  • Great question and great video, but Ron needs to come across as a likable guy. He can't ask questions that are this long.

  • Anarcho-Capitalist: Tom Woods. Keep it up. We're getting to them.

  • @drinfested I get enough apples with state sales taxes, i dont need any oranges from cain.

  • It doesn't matter what kind of question you ask Herman Cain. The only answer you will ever get from him is "Let me tell you about my 999 plan."

  • What you are mixing is apples and oranges!

    BWAHAH

  • I know you're not related to Tiger Woods because his real name is ELDRICK TONT.

Anyway, it doesn't really matter since your a Ron Paul supporter, so I couldn't hold that against you.

    RP2012!

  • Why was the internet a bubble?

  • @ipwnallnubscuzirock The internet wasn't. There was a .com (dotcom) bubble where there were many many .com startups that were being invested in on the thought that they would all take off and become huge even if there were no real assets involved. Pretty soon people realized these stocks were worthless and sold them thus causing a huge selloff and many of these startup dotcoms going under. look up peter schiff if you want to understand more

  • Cain is not electable. Most states have no TAX on food, clothing, & Rx. Nine states have no income TAX. If Cain gets the nomination, PO Ass as Everybody is, that Nandi Bear, obama, will be a shoe-in. Fixed!

  • Herman Cain: Well Ron, that is one long accusatory question with an attachment of guilt. Should I return the ping-pong ball to your court with english and tip it off the edge on your side? Better yet, let's have a Godfather pizza and talk about it Ron, you buyin'?

  • Woods is terrific. Love the guy.

  • If actually asked this question, he would simply say you are "incorrect" and you did not hear "what he actually said". Simple deflections for simple minded people that will not do their homework.

  • It needs to be about 2 minutes shorter: "7 days before the recession, you said the economy was fine, while I predicted it years in advance. Why do you think Americans should not be worried about you trying to fix a disaster you couldn't even see coming?"

  • Tom Woods, your question is great. However, the wording needs to be more simple and direct. The meaning of the question will get lost on in the minds of the average viewer. Also, one of the only weak points in Doctor Paul is his verbalization of long winded statement or questions. How about:

7 days before the financial crisis you said everything was great. Obviously you didn't know what you were talking about. Wouldn't you agree that the people who knew what was going on should be in charge?

  • Dr. Woods, we haven't been hearing and seeing you much lately If you need to clear your obligation plate, hurry up, because we're on the doorstep of full blown crisis. The big (evil) MSM may not like your unabashed honesty but they know you make for good TV video and audio. Your appearance and voice are what producers LOOK FOR.

Hire an agent if need be but you need to GET OUT THERE. We need you. The Great Unwashed needs to hear you - and fast.

  • Time for a tv commercail with Cain lying ..... money bombs !! Perry just got 17 Million !! Romney and Perry tied for first !!

  • The question is too long. They don't give RP that much time.

  • excellent ?every body share this

  • Herman 'No brain' Cain is just another sold-out house niggah. Afro-americans have no need for this king of Uncle Toms.

  • Cain plays on weakness: “It’s either me or Obama!” Yet so does this—the idea publicly embarrassing Cain, a man who cares not about integrity, brains or even good taste—will sway his supporters who, likewise, exhibit no love for said virtues, and that by manipulating this cesspit of idiots—by getting them on the side of RP, or at least against Cain, RP will have a better shot at the nomination. Screw the nomination. If Republicans are such idiots they favor Cain, let RP run as an independent.

  • @freddietz96

Why do you want to sideline Ron Paul so early in the campaign?

An independent doesn't have a shot at the WH. The two party system is much too ingrained into government, at least at the Federal level.

  • @maskedphrogg Oh, I don't know--I like to be Christian occasionally--let the Lord see to thine increase. Or at least be a good AAer--"Let go and let God": I do occasionally part ways with my own tendency to manipulate the people and circumstances around me, seeing as I'm not a complete atheist--not a Cain, in other words. I inform the voter, I don't try to engineer him. But hey, you do you man. What the hell, maybe you should be the 1 puppetting the US instead of global bankers doing as much.

  • Ron Paul...Tom Woods... 2012 !!!

  • Good question.

  • Good question.j

  • The tea party folks are gathering round Cain because they are so terrified of being labelled 'racist' they think supporting Cain will end this issue.

Cain is God awful, hes a banker puppet. No Cain, never

  • If Herman Cain somehow becomes president and the Occupy movement persists till then, I can foresee a Tiananmen-style crackdown.

  • why is cain ahead in the polls, because the media wants it that way! the media owned by wall st, favers who they can control and prosper from!

  • My question to you Tom and to RP is why are the 24/7 Chemtrail operations not a concern?

  • @cdimmm

    Please. Do some more research.

  • Herman Cain is the black McCain.

  • As a professional consultant, I am giving free advice here...on video composition. What is so important above the subject's head? Background is distracting, get in a little closer composition/framing, your presentation will be much more effective.

    You're welcome.

  • @kworld01 Paper props are so important to carrying his message.

  • @kworld01 NO one cars what you have to say.

  • 7 days before it hit

    Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

  • Tom, F&#*kin A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cain wouldn't stand a chance in a debate against Tom.

  • Good question.

  • Not to bring you video down Tom, but Cain would just say his "mystery advisers" would give him additional info he didn't have, try to divert it to 999 or call Paul a liar. That is just the kind of man Cain is.

  • Nice question. The media seems to be really hyping up Herman Cain now.

    Ron Paul for President 2012!

  • Tom Woods hits the nail on the head again.

  • RON PAUL is the only that cares for the people.

  • Tom, if you are not directly involved in prepping Dr. Paul for debates, I want to know why, please. THANK YOU for all you do to educate us!

  • This guy is good!!

  • Unfortunately, you cannot ask Herman Cain a direct question because he does not answer them. He's a salesman, not a scholar.

  • TOM WOODS for VP!!!

  • he will just say he was trying to keep confidence up... :/

  • The irony being that Austrian Economics doesn't believe in economic predictions.

  • Good question. But now Paul can't ask it because it would be spun into him taking instructions from supporters' youtube videos.

Maybe write the good doctor a letter next time?

  • OUCH. Now I *really* want to hear that question get asked!

  • So am I understanding the question right?

Why did Cain not foresee the fall of the economy 7 days before it happened after attempts were made to bail out the economy?

And ask the freekin question already! Stop blabbering!

    Silly Paulbots.

  • @AR15WS6 Rather, considering that Cain did not have the economic knowledge to see something so blatantly obvious, why should he be allowed to direct economic policy?

  • We have to start with the root of the problem. It's the Fed and anyone with common sense can easily see that. Sorry, I meant anyone who has also studied the Fed can see that. Problem is that Ignorance is bliss. People just don't do their research and rely on the word of the liars and crooks in Congress. Ron Paul has always been consistent on all of the issues but people really don't even know our Constitution and that's why they think of Paul as some kind of kook.

  • good question

  • BRILLIANT!! Gawd! I can't stand the pizza man! It's an insult to mankind to see his polls rise (fake polls, I'd say).

  • @alexpalchak $9.99 Cheese please LOL

  • Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who is willing to turn us away from our path toward economic collapse and chaos. All of the others offer more of the same failed policies. All of the other candidates offer us the very UNREAL idea that government can fix our lives and give us all a fairy tale life. Ron Paul is the only one who is grounded in reality. Let's support the one who accepts the reality of the Constitution, and that freedom is the only solution to the human condition

  • @CookenWithKilla I agree and I hope he announces Tom Woods will be his running mate before the primaries.

  • Mr. Cain would tell you that 1) He no longer was a director at the Federal reserve or held a Congressional seat as Mr. Paul does and was not privy to information regarding the FEDS market position. So with the information he was given it appeared fine, NOW, the question is a member of Congress who supposedly see`s this and can`t raise enough red flags or have the FED audited or taken seriously enough by his peers shows a severe lack of leadership. Cain or Obama, You choose, Please vote Cain.

  • @erininokeechobee Cain is a stooge and a charlatan, just my opinion, not arguing.

  • Tom Woods for VP!!!!!!!!!

  • 9-9-9 will cure aids and cancer.

  • @rgiblin6 Sure, will. If it's 9-9-9, it will shortly be 99-99-99. The government will consume all the capital in the economy and we will starve to death. No people, no AIDS and no cancer!

  • I never gave the economy a clean bill of health so I have been misquoted there. All I said was the economy needs a bold new plan, and 9-9-9 is that plan. *crowd goes nuts* - there's his answer Tommy :)

  • Tom Woods for press secretary

  • Tom, why don't you just run for something?

I don't mean that to be disparaging...

    I mean that for real.

  • You should see the response where Cain called the OW demonstrators "lazy and jealous of other people's success."

Real capitalism is not suppose to include bailouts when you screw up. Fake and corrupt capitalism does include bailouts. Remember enron when it went belly up, the world did not end. Life went on and the industry continued.

Oh guess what, GS and MS is considering dropping the bank status so they can avoid the govt regulation coming down on banks. Figures... use and abuse.

  • Ouch! Dang, Dr.Woods you made my day.

  • Bravo, Dr. Woods.

  • Two points he could have easily retorted and won: 1st, @01:35 - He would have asked for Paul to provide a quote, to provide fact, at which point, Paul would have no retort. 2nd @01:50 - It is impossible to tell the future, which is why most of obama's economic team are long gone. It is like a stock. Just because Paul gets it right many times, he can't get it right all of the time. Remember, I say this when I voted for Paul in 2007, and say this wishing he and cain were on the same ticket.

  • @jargainjones "It is like a stock. Just because Paul gets it right many times, he can't get it right all of the time." Not true. Whereas someone like Cain who ignorant of the underlying causes of boom/bust cycles. Paul knows them well. You seem to like Cain for his style... but you know Paul is the real deal. I'll take substance over style any day.

  • @pak88xbl Unfortunately, the Fed reserve is the second on my list right now. Jobs and lower taxes are 1a and 1b. Then you audit and dismantle the fed. Paul would get in and begin auditing, when people are suffering. It isn't wise, even though I despise the fed as much as Paul does.

  • @jargainjones "Unfortunately, the Fed reserve is the second on my list right now. Jobs and lower taxes are 1a and 1b." Paul isn't going to deal with only the Fed... I'm sure his administration will be able to multitask. But the Fed is the *primary* destroyer of jobs today. The Fed is transferring massive amounts of wealth into unproductive sectors or to other countries. We can't have a recovery until monetary policy is changed. And Paul will abolish the IRS... You like paying income taxes?

  • @jargainjones

How can you deny focus on the Federal Reserve System when it is the primary causative agent of what you purport to be your primary concerns?

Let's quote Herman Cain, you've got to solve the right problem. How can he resolve problems of great unemployment and high taxes when he is unwilling to face up to their core causes?

  • You should be asking yourself "What Ron Paul couldn't ask Herman Cain". Romney was winning because all of these debaters advisers told them to attack romney. If you should want anybody for president, you should want a herman cain / ron paul ticket. Ron paul is not a fighter, and people see this, ergo he has no chance. Ron paul knows his stuff, but unless he actually exudes his intelligence, nobody can witness it. He is afraid. Btw, he was my top pick, but Herman Cain is now my top, Paul second.

  • @jargainjones And i say this before any of you were ron paul fans. I say this before 2008, when you all were voting for McCain and obama the nation destroyer.

  • @jargainjones

    You're wrong again.

We WERE voting for Ron Paul when the rest of you were voting for cc:McCain vs cc:Obama

You statists only change tactics, never goals.

  • @maskedphrogg Just do yourself a service and vote for Herman Cain. You won't really have a choice though since Paul hasn't a chance in the primaries. Sometimes being a genius hurts.

  • @jargainjones This isn't a game. This is about electing a president.

  • @jargainjones

As a Libertarian, no he didn't stand a chance against the behemoth Demopublicans.

As a Republican he has found many and varied supporters, confidants, and cheerleaders. You my friend are suggesting that all of us drop our ideals and principles and vote for you guy who looks and sounds much like a reformed contemporary neo-con.

    No thank you.

If you voted for Obama to show you weren't racist

You really should vote for Cain to show you aren't stupid.

But it goes no further than that

  • @jargainjones Dr. Paul and Herman Cain are polar opposits on their economic theory as well as their views of the US Constitution.

  • @jargainjones "Ron paul is not a fighter, and people see this, ergo he has no chance." What does that have to do with anything? And in fact, Paul *is* a fighter. Look at previous debates. He never backs down no matter how unpopular the position he believes in. You are mistaking animated speaking with conviction. Cain/Romney/Perry etc will change whichever way the polls blow... not Paul. He's a true fighter.

  • The pizza man can tapdance

    /watch?v=dy0hfj1NP-o

  • Herman Cain will say this: '' I will surrend myself with the right people''.

  • A better end statement would be "You talk about working on the right problem but how can America trust you when your unable to identify the wrong problem

  • @8chxBLhJDy9 I think it may have something to do with Ron Paul running his own money bomb at the same time.

  • nein nein nein!

  • @dcblyke

Normally I'd advise you don't plagiarize.

but i thought that Dennis Miller bit was quite funny myself

aka what ppl should say when the gov shows up at the door demanding taxes

  • @maskedphrogg im 2nd generation german in the us, my grandparents would always use nein instead of no. which was weird when youre learning to count in younger age. just found dennis millers rant on this, funny.

  • @dcblyke

So glad you took it in the humour it was intended. I heard Dennis utter the rant in an over-the-air radio broadcast (basically first hand live) just hours before watching and commenting on this video. So your comment was both timely and topical.

  • Do you sometimes get the sick feeling that Tom woods is a statist?

  • @bowtie728 No.

  • @bowtie728 Were I a retard I might.

  • @bowtie728 Mr. Woods is consistent in defending the US Constitution and is very well-versed. He's terrific.

  • @KillBaddBugz the constitution is clearly a statist document. I never signed that document, I never consented, I am forced to comply with the constitution by force.

  • @bowtie728 Yes. Hence, "The United States of America". And that is the beauty of it, in reality. Though one would never recognize it today. After all, it is a common school of thoght that it is indeed now "up for edit", in a matter of speaking. And THAT is NOT so beautiful, is it now. You are also free to depart from it, unlike in other political systems worldwide. So please. Feel free. Seek a better political ground for yourself. Good day-

    END FED

    RON PAUL 2012

  • @KillBaddBugz "You are also free to depart from it, unlike in other political systems worldwide."

Red herring. The door must be unlocked from BOTH sides.

It is also disingenuous. You can leave any place in Western Europe, Canada, Mexico, India, Japan ...... need I go on?

  • @jeffiek Maybe you SHOULD go on...and finish the conversation with yourself lol. Our dialogue is finished.

  • @bowtie728 You're right. What is even worse is that the Federal government long ago abandoned the Constitution and is ruling ad hoc and willy-nilly. It makes reference to no body of law: The Constitution is a "living" document." Government rule is bureaucratic through the many federal agencies. At least with the Constitution, you know what you're objecting to. As things exist, you don't have a clue what you're even objecting or agreeing to.

  • @bowtie728

    Nope.

    Never

  • Well said, Tom. Really glad you're on our team--would support you for whatever office you might run for--if that isn't against your principles. :)

  • Libertarians need to stop persecuting anyone who isn't a puritan, and trying embarass them.

It was simply impossible to push these free market ideas a few years ago, the public simply didn't want to hear them. Even Ron Paul gave up on this for over a decade, and quit politics.

Cain is far from perfect, but is a huge improvement than the current nutjob that's running the show.

Focus on education & debate, rather than on these anecdotes.

  • @LibertyDownUnder Under current law: As a manufacturer, you go to purchase raw materials. Suppose your Widget needs a stack of lumber that costs $1000. Because of state sales tax, that lumber costs, on average, $1070. That cost is built into the end price of the Widget.

  • @LibertyDownUnder Now, you manufacture these widgets. To make up for the expense of the Widget, and to ensure you’re making money to pay for labor, transportation, inspection, regulation, etc. and profit, your final product costs $2000, and one of your customers will pay $2140 it. Your customer has to get the Widgets to market, and charges $3000, or $3210 with final state tax.

  • @LibertyDownUnder Under the Cain 9% plan: Now the stack of lumber comes with a 16% tax on it (state’s 7% plus 9% for Federal), which makes the lumber cost $1160 for raw materials, $2320 for the manufacturer, and $3480. Notice a few things here–

  • @LibertyDownUnder A) The profit margin for the manufacturer has decreased. In order to make up for this, his end product needs to be more expensive. So let’s call his end price to market is $2410 to make up, just in revenue lost from paying the extra tax on raw materials. Notice this now a 20.5% increase in price with built in taxation– not 16% as figured from the state + the Cain 9%).

  • @LibertyDownUnder B) The end distributor for customers now also has to make up for that increase in price, so let’s put that new term at $3750 for recouping what was lost in tax before, so the end price is now 25% higher. If this distributor is pushing items out to stores for end-sales, we’re looking at a 30% increase in prices from a 9% increase due to a NST.” – The Autopsy

  • @LibertyDownUnder In that scenario the author gives Mr. Cain the benefit of the doubt, that is, instead of using a more realistic 23% for his math he uses a 9%. One only needs to extrapolate those numbers to understand what turmoil our country would be in under those circumstances. I agree with the author, as he goes on to conclude, that both businesses and the middle class would suffer greatly from this while the rich would gain.

  • @vehilli This is from Just.Logic Herman Cain Exposed: The 9-9-9 Plan... I feel this author and the other had a very good explanation of how Cain's 999 plan would work compared to what we already have.

  • @vehilli, I appreciate the detailed answer but it has nothing to do with what I wrote.

Cain stands for tax cuts, and reduced role for the federal government in the economy. I just think Libertarians are wasting too much time on anecdotes rather than on principle.

  • @LibertyDownUnder If Cain is for adding a national sales tax, which he is, that isn't a tax cut. ;) Moreover, our number 1 issues is THE ECONOMY. Herman Cain was oblivious to the Fed created bubbles and recessions, even 1 week prior to the 'collapse'. No thank you. Heck, any one of us are just as qualified - we can all parrot 9-9-9 (that someone else thought up) and JOBS-JOBS-JOBS.

  • @LibertyDownUnder Anecdotes? The manipulation of our currency and financial bubbles are anecdotes? The war machine and us losing liberties are anecdotes?

  • @LibertyDownUnder Yes i apologize for that. But this is a simple explanation i felt to share with you about Cain's 9-9-9 plan which seems to be gaining a lot of attention lately. And as such, i think the criticism hes receiving is fair provided that there are many facts that support them. But my point is, it's his slogan which is giving him rise in popularity. And i think that needs some thorough research done before people start waving their arms in joy for Cain to save the country.

  • @LibertyDownUnder Furthermore, I understand your annoyance with libertarians targeting anecdotes. But that is not my aim. My aim is at his plan's for the economy. You claim that he is a much better than obama. And I am not one to support this man either, but from what I’ve looked into. I'd have to disagree.

  • @LibertyDownUnder Now back to the anecdotes... I think it's alright to look at those too because it can heavily affect many opinions in regards to Cain's principles. It's difficult for me to believe a man is honest when there is pure evidence that supports him lying. Although how small that evidence may be, it's small enough to take my trust away.

  • @vehilli, everyone in Washington has to compromise their principles, including Ron Paul.

If you try to be too honest, you get marinalized and lose your job.

The sales tax that Cain is suggesting is aimed at replacing or at least reducing others, such as income & corporate tax.

Cain is not your problem, please stop looking for saints.

  • @LibertyDownUnder Why does everyone in Washington have to compromise their principles??? That's the freaking problem right there, somebody compromised our principles of sound money and look at the dollar now...only 4% of it's original 1913 value, they compromised on the idea that we have a right to keep the fruits of our labors (compromised for only 2%, but look at it now!).

"In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock."

    -Thomas Jefferson

  • @LibertyDownUnder You will not find anyone in Washington that is like Ron Paul, who doesn't compromise his principles and has been honest and principled for over 20++ years. And if you can even dig up anything on Ron Paul compromising principles it would be small and very very limited. And not a big issue!

  • @InnerShaman, I agree, but this wasn't my point.

My point was that Libertarians waste too much time criticizing other conservatives over their past, rather than spreading the message of free markets & sound money.

  • @LibertyDownUnder

    What?

Cain's defense of his 9-9-9 Plan revolves around it being revenue neutral. In other words, he claims that 9-9-9 will neither reduce nor increase revenue. Supposedly the same revenue will be collected but from different sources. What he fails to acknowledge is that for most of us, the middle class, it won't be different sources but different times and places that our earnings will be collected from us. The 9-9-9 plan's downfall is that it is transparently misguided.

  • @blue2495821 Wether or not they control any of it directly doesn't stop them being a special interest group anyway.

  • @blue2495821 You mean some of those federal reserve branches are private for-profit?

  • Bald Black Bold! 999

  • You need to include a direct quote in the question, otherwise Cain can weasel out of it, just as he did with Ron Paul's Fed question. He'll say, "I never gave the economy a clean bill of health, you're misinterpreting me."

  • Cain should be reminded of another root cause of our financial crisis: speculators learned from Greenspan (Cain's favorite central banker) that, if they were creditors of a failed entity, they had nothing to worry about as long as it was deemed too-big-to-fail (like Long Term Capital Management). Greenspan bailed out his banker pals, and encouraged more risk-taking. Paul should give Cain a reading list, like he did to Giuliani. The first book should be Fleckenstein's "Greenspan's Bubbles".

  • Oh my. Ask and you shall receive. Mr. Woods' new vid.

    Thank you so very much!

Your credibility and logic is unsurpassed. Very good talking points!

    Thanks again! awesome

The good fight. Mr. Woods always hitting nail on head. Just terrific. LIKED

  • Cain lost all respect when he told us that people should blame themselves for losing jobs or not being rich. I don't care about the rich part honestly, but how is it my fathers fault he lost his job after 33 years of service? New management came in, and kicked out the older folks.

    How is that his fault?

  • great video thats what i was hoping he would have asked.

  • Cains a source of embarrassment without your question

  • 999 upside down.

  • No more nig nogs in the White House!

  • As always, Tom Woods is the sunlight that our politician vampires shrink from. (Cain fits that bill, here.) I recently had the pleasure of following Woods on AU Radio Network. The audience was entirely comprised of people who could understand every word I said --a rarity for me. Major props to Woods for his dedication to being consistently correct on politics.

  • Pawn! @ Cain

  • I'm starting to think Herman (999) Cain is a plant from the Fed to distract from Ron Paul's message. LOL

  • What's pathetic is that if you listen/watch his speeches, all he does is praise America and America is this and America is that. The only thing concerning the presidential race he ever utters is the 999 plan and then again, he continues with his praise for America.

  • We all need to ask for receipts when we go vote in our state's primary election. From what I know about Diebold(sp?) and other voting machines, they can easily be tampered with. Dr. Paul will end up getting a significant amount of votes from Independents, Democrats, and even from the Green Party thanks to Nader's support. Make sure to change your political party and look up the instructions on how to do so immediately. Here in NJ, our forms have to be in 55 days before the primary to vote.

  • Perfect question in hindsight. I wouldn't have minded if Ron asked Romney: "Gov Romney, why is it that I get more donations from active military personal than all the other GOP candidates sitting at this table? AND if you were elected Prez when would you bring our troops home like I have suggested?"

  • Cain said more than the American economy was ok. Just days before the economic crisis hit he said that the American economy was better and stronger than it had ever been. I would use his comments as you mentioned, but also to ask him, that if he was so completely unaware of the economic crisis that was looming on the horizon just days away back then, why would Americans voters trust him at all now when he says his 999 plan would be great for the economy?

  • LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

  • Tom's brain is quite big.
