S2 was great but you're in for a treat in season 3. That was my favorite season, real clever writing. S6 by the way is pretty decent. Saw the latest tonight

I also hate Rita. If I got married (highly unlikely) I would have my own little secret hideout. I'd need my own space. How can she not understand that Dexter needs that? Every guy does.

Even if she wasn't being totally ungrateful for everything Dexter has done for her (she'd probably be dead by now if not for him) it's still a ridiculous entry into the plot. I wonder who wrote that into it because the rest of the show/episode is good.

One thing that really pissed me off about Rita in that episode was when she began to confront Dexter about the apartment in the hospital, Harrison starts crying and she glares at him like it's his fault and says: "This isn't the place to be talking about this."

Fuck, I wish she wasn't such a bitch now.
