I sold Modern Warfare 2 to buy this game... Big mistake. Why? Here are my reasons:
1.) Explosives rendered USELESS. Explosives are EXPLOSIVES, of course they'll kill you fast.
2.) Snipers have no real use anymore. They were... Toned down a bit, but nothing unmanageable. However, there are no maps in which give decent vantage points.
Keep in mind that there are my opinions. Sure, Modern Warfare 2 was a bit... Messed up... (Commando...) But I still prefer it over Black Ops. It's dull as hell.
@buccaneerschamp1 Black Ops is way too boring. I agree MW2 was worse than a BK Randy, but all most people do in Black Ops is run around with Ghost and Suppressors. I play with a full team of good players in objective based games (HQ, Demo, Sab) 90% of the time, the other 10% is me playing alone in TDM or FFA (so you understand where I'm coming from). And honestly its boring, same routes always work, same turnout every game, same shitty opponents.
@jismith66 If I may try and settle this. I think that because now no one has that painkiller or commando to fall on if nothing works, they tend to play a bit more defensively. But of course Noobs or especially Newbs will be Noob/newbs. Most will try to play it safe, but once the Christmas noob phase passes. i'm sure the gameplay will pick up slightly

@jismith66 If I could give some advice to any of the "Campers" who find this. Go into a private match, run around the maps in various game types to find different routes that look like they work. I spend a lot of time in private matches by myself for the sole fact of getting better at maps i'm not as good at
@AngelofDeath2178 Or jump into a Domination game with friends, it helps a lot. Combat training is also a pretty useful tool for learning maps, thats what its there for.
@jismith66 Yep! To anyone who like to "Strategically sit in a corner" for about half the game, I'm not bashing you. Just try out combat training. Going on Recruit Truthfully isn't going to get you anywhere, start on recruit and move up to regular and hardened, I don't expect anyone to instantly go to veteran. But just try combat training before going online.
MW2 was good for me at first... around the 70 hour mark i started noticing the major problems... all fixed in black ops... sucks that so many PC gamers are suffering from the optimization issues. good nuke BTW
I will ALWAYS remember my favorite nuke I ever got. It was hilarious, and the other team was talking so much shit to me after it, lol. It was a domination on invasion, and my air support wasn't doing shit. The enemy team had 198 points, and I was frantic for my last kill, so I picked up an ACR noob tube, and launched a noob tube at B, picking up the 25 killstreak. At that point, the other team had 199, and I was mashing the killstreak button. I called it in with less than a second to spare.
Black Ops absolutely sucks, MW2 was decent but the people that played it absolutely sucked. At least Battlefield and Reach are still good, and i have high hopes for killzone 3.
Black Ops is trash, honestly the worst CoD I've ever played. Not an IW fanboy, but I really did enjoy MW2 more than BO. It may have had it's bullshit, but it clearly beats Wack Ops. It was one of the most memorable games of all time.

It's not the game, it's the community that ruined it. Noobtubes, One Man Army, campers, boosters, all of peoples biggest problems with the game were only bad because gay-tards spammed them. If you got in a lobby with cool people it was hella fun. It sucks balls that 10% of the people playing it had to ruin it for everyone.

Black Ops absolutely sucks, MW2 was decent but the people that played it absolutely sucked. At least Battlefield and Reach are still good, and i have high hopes for killzone 3.

Black Ops is trash, honestly the worst CoD I've ever played. Not an IW fanboy, but I really did enjoy MW2 more than BO. It may have had it's bullshit, but it clearly beats Wack Ops. It was one of the most memorable games of all time.

The thing with MW2 is that it was chaotic but fun.
Black Ops is balanced but kinda boring IMO.
All I see is AK-74u and Ghost users. I missed MW2's variety.
Plus shotguns suck hard in Black Ops. MW2 they were at least usable.

It's not the game, it's the community that ruined it. Noobtubes, One Man Army, campers, boosters, all of peoples biggest problems with the game were only bad because gay-tards spammed them. If you got in a lobby with cool people it was hella fun. It sucks balls that 10% of the people playing it had to ruin it for everyone.

@n0d0ubt007 well my K/D is so much higher in BO than MW2, in BO its 2.54, in mw2 its 1.95. so your theory that it takes skill to play BO is correct because the reason the KD is low in MW2 is cuz of 1 thing...NOOBTUBES. I still love mw2 cause its not the games fault, its the people who play it

@SpecterInTheMists you obviously haven't heard a gun in real life. Guns are meant to be loud, and powerful. which is why mw2's guns are more realistic than black ops. +guns in black ops are inaccurate, and weak compared to the guns in mw2.

@MaxFlowRSX yes there was bullshit, yes there was frusturting times, if you like Bo stay with it but you can't deny all the commentators are getting bored, all my friends are bored, and I only play IW COD currently, treyarc can't make a good CoD, it's boring, MW2 was some fun asss shit if you have friends to play with.
The issues are problems, but just like people, I wouldn't have it any other way, it is what it is. I love it you don't have to but don't tell people there wrong
