  • This will be exhibit A in my lawsuit against Diddy for killin' hip-hop

  • Keep it movin diddy came thru wit this shit.

  • This song is off Vendetta. Vendetta is one of the best albums ever. Geronimo's skills are second to none. He made a mistake going with Diddy (now) but (then) it was the smartest move to make if he wanted to sell units. Units=more albums. Can't hate on the man for trying to eat.

  • A MESSAGE TO DIDDY. I DONT CARE HOW MUCH MONEY YOU GOT! YOU SUCK! YOU HAVE ZERO SKILLS ON THE MIC! YOU HAVE NO STYLE! YOU ARE THE DEVIL WHO KILLED HIP HOP! PEACE

  • dude sexy as f*ck

  • This is one of the dopest albums I have ever heard in my life, but who would've known based on this track? I wouldn't say it's a horrible song but video is pretty silly though.

  • WTF?! is this BS-- OMG. im SOOOOOO glad i stayed underground since 1994. im tryin to find that trach ' im so high' and i keep getting this song as a result. so i click on it just to seee- and BAAAAM! THis BS! Damn Mic G. Shoulda said no to this. SOSOSOSOSOSO FAKE. damn i hate badboy- so gimmicky and tinny... such tacky music and videos..... I THOUGH THIS WAS A IN LIVING COLOR SKIT AT FIRST. someone should put laugh tracks behind this and repost! lol

  • whys everyone hatin on diddy. i dont think mic ever signed with bad boy, this is merely a production from puff. not every1 makes it in the rap game, dont blame puff

  • I dont know why these busters are hatin on this but, you know what tho.....dis shit's dope yo.

  • sad...

  • Shiny Suits?Nice but unusual pop sounds for a hardcore hip hopper?Use of the word "bad boy"? sniff sniff I SMELL DIDDY!!! smh

Still i nice song though but bad collaboration

  • WACK

  • So puff put Mic Geronimo in a shiny suit too. smh

  • ahhhh dismembered hip hop wow what the fck is this its like frankenstein

  • even though, there were a tonne of awesome puff daddy songs back in the old days:

Mo money mo problems, - with mase, kelly price, notorious b.i.g.

do you like it, do you want it - with jay z

beeen around the world remix - wit mase & carl thomas

Do it again - with mase from the mase album "double up"

but this one is just eerie. almost foreshadowing his future corruption.

  • all i have to say is, i think this is scary shit.

like goose bumps & are you afraid of the dark level scary.

Puff Daddy is an evil faggot, and i hope Mic Geronomo leaves his label.

Seriously, this beat is fuckin eerie.

  • @AdmiralXolzo2 LMAO. Yo, I thought I was alone..I haven't heard this shit in years...Thing is, I tried to listen to this a couple months ago..and I could NOT make it through the whole thing. Not to mention that I think there's some skeleton in a jail cell near the end of the video and there's all these epileptic effects and shit. I don't know, but I don't wanna watch to the end because it startled me as a kid when I watched it alone in the dark. And the "oooo" voices in the song..*shudders*

  • Man, i cringe every time i see fuckin dancers in a Mic Geronimo vid! This was not his zone man. Still got mad love for dude, one of the best and most underrated that came outta the 'Golden Era'...The Natural!

  • when this song comes on i get trap in a daze

  • The end of a great rappers career

  • Man I remember this song back when BET played real rap music. This was my jam I love the background Kelly Price sung that song. Puffy did a great job on this song but its a shame how he ruin people music career. Never sign a deal with Puffy!!!!

  • Man wtf, the whole "the natural" album was so good and real, check shit's real or masta IC, it was pure dopeness... this shit is just wack and so fuckin' commercial it sucks

  • Y did I like this shit I was like nine sound ike broke ass mase!

  • WTF with the SHINY suit. G*ddamn hes been Diddyfied.

  • @tattoosxy Haha. Put on your shiny suit and just dance! Diddy all in the videos!

  • this song is still hot....but you can "shiney suit mic geronimo"! SMH

  • Sadly this was Mic Geronimo's attempt to come back... I felt he should of never mess with Puff.... Puff build and ends careers fast.

  • i STILL look at this video like 'is he serious????' i know he mustve felt his career ending...

  • thats how you know he couldnt survive with the times still a dope song though

  • People bitch about the souf ruining hip-hop

But puffy did the same bullshit music & nobody complained.

N.Y. Niggas get ya head out ya ass.

  • Puffy and his shiny bs.smh

    Geronimo- why?

  • PUFF DADDY AKA GAY

THE ONLY ARTIST ABLE TO BE STILL FUCKIN GREAT WITH ASS GAY DIDDY ON HIS BACK WAS BIGGIE

  • PUFF DADDY AKA GAY

  • PUFF DADDY AKA GAY

  • this is when hiphop started its downfall with all the stupid flashy shit

  • why people say that this video ended his career?

  • @blacvaginaphinda Well, he went from backpacker to pop in a very short period of time. Besides, this isn't the first time a music video ended someone's career (See: Billy Squier's "Rock Me Tonite") LOL!!!

  • I have an independent album of Mic Geronimo at home he made the cd in 2003 if you want the cd I putt the songs on youtube ok?

  • @reymisterio56 is that vendetta album?

  • this song rigth here is from vendetta yes it´s true.

  • I have Vendetta.

  • @reymisterio56 if this is from vendetta it means that whole album sucks lol but yeah feel free to put it down

  • lmao hes tryna do puffy

  • this was st8 trash!!

  • the song was HOT for that time but it killed his UNDERGROUND SOUND DAMN

  • damn i was expecting something good...

  • Fuck Puffy...Jay Electronica stay away from Sean Combs gay ass

  • mr. shiny suit man!

  • Comment removed

  • The single version of this track is the shit

  • Diddy might have been the one that planned biggie's and 2pac's death, think about it albums sell faster like a (dead artist's paintings<except higher than a cd) , somebody has to end fucking p diddy

  • Mic's skills R sick!!

  • /watch?v=Vx1ObMcWR08&feature=related

  • trash

  • so true PUff Daddy ended someone else career

  • Thanks Diddy for killing a real Mc career

  • Heather Hunter at 2:33... and several times thereafter. Hotness. Otherwise, this is pure garbage.

  • @bc2358 And what do you think is going on now?

  • @bc2358 What do you meean 97-2001 hip hop is still suffering? Suffering from what?

  • Bubble gum tune crossed-over tune produced by diddy...that wasn't his sh*t

  • wtf is this

  • @bc2358 It is. I find myself acting like an old geezer and I ain't nothing but 30. All I listen to is old school and mad at the new shit.

  • @UGodd Dude, I can relate to you. All I do is listen to old school too. I also don't like the way hip hop has gone now. It's ridiculous and disappointing how commercialized it has gotten. But I'm proud to listen to old school. And just because you're 30 doesn't mean that you're an old geezer. I'm 33 and I think I"m still young. We're just from a different generation, you and me. But we grew up listening to some find music.

  • @agentbl You are righter than right is. Thanks

  • What happened to him? He was a cutie pie. Yeah he did this viodeo lookin like one of them Diddy videos, I dont think it worked for him. People was buying it at all. Oh well.

  • king chyldz dontplay spreading love its the brooklyn way reality reach open that book

  • wowwww..this was the song....back in the day in NYC

  • Chorus: Times are hard? Times are rough? Feelin' like you've had enough, u can make it, gotta try, make a change, live your life.

A subtle message from Puff to Mic Geronimo, one might ask? LOL

  • The song is okay. He was featured on an MTV spot where he basically stated that he just wanted a big time album and was happy with it, he wasn't trying to go too far. Unfortunately, the rest of the CD was crap.

  • Wow I forgot all about this video, even though It says Mic G on the song I still had to c his face on it....This was def a career killa...I feel bad for him...ANotha young brotha who IS talented but got hooked up with someone who is ASS!!! Real talk....WHo makes his fortune of the backs of talented artists....This is no different than my man Canibus and Wycleff

  • man this suck dick

  • Damn, he sure was a cutie!!!

  • career killer

  • i dont even remember him signing with badboy lol . its been so long. when will people learn not to fuck with diddy. i dont get it. i really dont.

  • this reminds me of puffy when i see this. out of all the people to emulate. yuck

  • Cross over!!!!!! that will end your career!!!!

  • it's sad cuz this dude displayed much talent on the natural album. what can u say.. he took a gamble w/ bad boy and lost. as funny as this may sound, this track is still better than 90% of the hip hop that's out today.

  • @topdollar28.

Shit doesn't sound funny at all. TD28, can I try to reinterpret that real quick? I think you mean this is MASHING on fools like Gucci, Webbie and Soulless(Boi), right?

As a DJ, I'll say this. This track is perfect for mixing.

On the flipside, I'm all about that Talib, The Roots so on and so forth(yeah that). We're doing something new. We're not calling all that hollerin' what what! Hip Hop in this piece at all. It either gets done or shunned. You know what I mean? Peace.

  • Fuck??? i know damn well this anit Masta I.C on that " if you think im jiggy" puff daddy shit??? this nigga musta been desperate...nice beat doe

  • not a bad song, but it's not him at all...this anit Masta I.C this is some Mase/diddy clone shit, plus the title contridicts the outcome THE MONEY DIDN'T MOVE WITH THIS BULLSHIT!!!

  • Geronimo still dropped some heat be4 the fame....the natural is a dope album...

  • Look likes Mic was really trying to sell records. Shiny Suit Era wasn't for everybody.

  • Hot! Nona Hendrix sample...

  • I perferred the flow The Masta I.C. 1st vibed.. this is a puffy career killa....but Geronimo is stil dude despite this mistake

  • fuck geronimo fuck puff up the boom buss bap

  • it kills me to see this dude in shiny shit, no knock to diddy he did his thing and made his money wit it, but geronimo shouldnt have ever done this.

  • i totaly agree with you

  • well these kids dont know this shit. trust, you play mic geronimo and theyll be like "wtf is that?" there might be a kid scattering around their older brothers cds or tapes and they might wanna know more. i did in 1990. i was all into my fathers and cousins tapes

  • Another MC that the Diddy auro murdered. Back then everyone was getting something from Diddy to get what the artist thought was ahead. Mic G will always be remembered in my books for "Masta IC" and not this bullshit.

  • take that take LOL. Mic Gerenimo dont even look right in this mess. total 360 for him. gotta make that money though.

  • wut ya kno bout this? ha ha

  • I dont know what it is but everybody that deals with puff gets their career shattered.

  • This video/song was an attempt by Geronimo to make money. His tracks have always been street. Street wasn't paying the bills in '98. So he needed to elevate his thinking. His first hit single was "Life Check"...classic. This video comes off the album "Vendetta" which is one of the best hip hop albums of all time. Just you tube the tracks "Survival" and "Unstoppable". You will see how tight his flow was. Geronimo used a variety of producers to experiment his style.....ie. Puffy and Havoc

  • everybody that knows hip hip knows that it goes in stages. this age is the "corny era" i grew up in the gangsta era. early 90s. growing up more... the authentic n.y. hip hop came and then the glamorized hip hop came in. the south came (no limit cash money) around 1996 on and after 1999 it just seemed all scattered around

  • @ssaturn

Thanks for the chronology, professor saturn.....

    *sideway eyes*

  • ur so righ homie this was the flossy and bright era as i call it...lol

  • my bad. so mic geronimo had an album out before this shiny suit influenced video dropped. im from the south, we was not up on mic geronimo during the mid to late 90s until we seen this terrible video on bet, and already assumed he sucked because we all thought he was just a puffy clone who is using puffy and his image to sell records. i never heard any of his other music outside of this song other than some track he did with cormega.

  • Mic Geronimo fine/sexy as hell....lol Fuck Diddy.

  • This isn't bad, just not Mic Geronimo-esque. Why did this end his career. Seriously, if Will Smith's "Miami" and "Wild Wild West" could make it as hit singles, plus all that R. Kelly/ Ginuwine shit, then why not this song?

  • This is when mic sold out and jumped on the bandwagon, he's broke now.

  • man Kelly Price was on all the hot shit bakc in the day

  • Sigh...the day i saw this is cried..he doesnt even look comfortable in this scene..

  • puff shamelessly jiggied up quite a few artists who are no longer with us..musically that is...

  • when this video came out..i knew something was wrong..because this is far from mic gerinimo style

  • This was the song back in the day. It was #1 on the 4play @ 4 on Hot97 for mad weeks. Im from the Tri & the tri-state was on Bad Boy HARD from like 94-99. Puff was HOT then. Mic Geronimo was a mixtape legend. However, he wasn't eatin like them. He was hungry so he did what Camron, Nas and even LL did back then, got Diddyfied. He knew this song would be a commercial hit & fly his album off the shelves and it did. This did kill his career but ya boy felt like he had to eat so he sold out, many do

  • What all the Puffy hate?? Don't y'all understand that since the Bad Boy sound was dominating at the time, THE ARTISTS AND LABELS WENT TO HIM on some, "Hey Puff, I need a hit, make me something in the Bad Boy style."

I'm quite sure Puff didn't approach Mic and say, "Yo, lemme make you jiggy."

  • yeah i been looking all over for this video dawgies

  • This is the video that killed Geronimo.

  • you guys are acting like mic geronimo had a career before this video. i honestly dont remember any hit songs he made before making this video. (or after making this video as a matter of fact). all i remember was that rap city used to play this video all the time, and we all would change the channel to sportscenter, or cartoon network immediately, because this video was extremely wack.

  • @khemis1 This is a disgrace.

  • @khemis1 What do u mean?

  • @khemis1

    Wooooooorrrdddd!!!!! Puffy did 'em in

  • @khemis1

Wooooooorrrdddd!!!!! Puffy did 'em in. Nigga went from Mobb Deep to Ma$e jr.

  • Diddy Disease- We Really Should be having telethons for this kinda shit....can't get down with this, but gotta give it up to mic for gettin who was at that time, the BADDEST bitch in porn!..

  • this is around the time when the rugged shit was dyin and the commercial shit was exploding. ll cool j-phenomenom, beat jacking was rampant, people posing like pimps, 97-98 were the downhill years.

  • hip hop damn near died in 98 until dmx and jay z brought it back.

  • Now, Jiggy is something Geronimo is not!!! Why would you do a single like that! Dude don't eve know how to dance!

  • niether does puffy but that doesnt stop him lol

  • wow! this bring back memories! this was the song back in the day!

  • NO!!! this "WASNT" the song back then...this basicly ended his career..

  • @PusherPriceTV What happened?

  • I have the independent album of Mic Geronimo he made in 2003

  • shame how puffy jigg'd him up. I HATE PUFF

  • LOOOOL!!! Yeah... i think u right on that one... and whats funny is i kind a liked this song.

  • when u get puff on a track and try to go commercial it went downhill for mic he was already a good lyricist he just didnt need puff.

  • this is what happens when you hook up with Diddy. Mic went from his style of masta i.c. to this diddy influenced track and video, which didnt help mic.

  • I forgot that Heather Hunter was in this video. This song was kinda funky. More pop-ish than his 1st cd for sure.

  • Commercial or whatever this SONG KNOCKED yo, hell it's still hot. You gotta give the brotha credit, he wanted to open up to a widfer audience. And DAMN LOOK AT HEATHER HUNTER in the middle of the video..WHOA!

  • y puff always tryda make artists mimic his style?

  • Used to love this song! This was a new style for him. Well, you live & you learn. The song got major BET play though. Hey I still like it.

  • his dancers helped me with my love for woman, i love a woman in leather lookin mean.

  • Look how wack and jiggy Mic Geronimo got on his second LP after such a dope first LP.

    Diddy to blame again.

Its so annoying hearing that Diddy mufucka whispering shit in the background.

  • That is Kelly Price on the hook. Geronimo went out on this one, tryin to be on Bad Boy nuts

  • Met dude in 2003 he cool gave a nigga good advice about the bizz my boy thought i was actin like a man groupie, but my homie should've been soakin up some of that advice instead of being a hatin' ass nigga

  • i had this maxi single back then...take that; kelly price singing the hook

  • I really dont think its because he went commercial i think its the amount he paid for the beat that puffy did here and i doubt i would let puffy(diddy) manage me but this was a pretty cool joint and this was the only single off his vendetta album i'm sure he would of got a pass if the second single was hot but he only had one single off this album..

  • Pretty commercial (puffy shit), but I like it (not the video). I'm sure, he has regretted this collaboration.

  • The funny lines-"cuts so sharp u think we sensei"

"More Amazing than a spielburg flick, mixed wit a little bit of tarentino shit"

"we back in yo face kickin durt all day"

  • LOL!!!!!!!!

  • this song was poppin!!! damn this is a throw baaccckk

  • this beat went hard!

  • i remember this song. what happened to his ass? he was probably one of them underground rappers that went commercial. po thang

  • mic geronimo was the papoose of the 90s.

  • this is what happens when you put your career in the hands of P Diddy..Commercial Ass Fool..Mic G..still dwelling inthe underground..Shits still Real!

  • exactly. Y do ppl keep fallin for the diddy gimmick.

  • THIS RUINED GERONIMO !!!!!!!!!!

  • Don't h8 cuz he tried 2 change w/ the times. Look @ Fat Joe he's nothing like when he first came out, but he's still around & now he's getting paper!

  • HAHAHAHAHAAHA, JIGGY ERA!!!

  • This song was the signal of the end of his career. He fucked himself by going to commercial. This track was and still is garbage. Sad to look at, considering how dope he was before this bullshit.

  • Word!! He went and fucked wit Puff. Probably thought thas where the dough was at. But, this shit don't compare to anything he made b4 that point. And I had dis album!lol Thas the funny shit.

  • sweet track!!!

  • Dis was the song what happened to him he was cute!!

  • My Shiznit!

  • dope song..first time seeing the video..personally i think everyone prefers to see "Masta I.C." and "Shit's Real" thorough QB mic geronimo..but cant hate a dude tryin to come up

reminds me of Nas joint with Ginuwine

  • Yo, your obviously not a real Hip-Hop head, our even understand it. Mic Geronimo is ill, but this is where he sold out. Shinny suit syndrome... And you said it reminds you of the nas joint with genuwine... Yeah you right it does, Cause it's F**CKING wack!!!!!!!

  • i liked this song when it was out...this is the first time ive heard it in 10yrs lol. whateva happened to him...i rememba they did this thing about him on MTV talkin bout how he was tryna come up in tha game...that was years ago too

  • This song banged back in the day, this was a hot track, Diddy did him justice, haters always gon hate

  • ooops....

  • yep... a lot of people criticized Mic for this, but homie was just tryin' to stay in the loop. can't be mad at it, plus the song was actually not bad at all.
