This was the song back in the day. It was #1 on the 4play @ 4 on Hot97 for mad weeks. Im from the Tri & the tri-state was on Bad Boy HARD from like 94-99. Puff was HOT then. Mic Geronimo was a mixtape legend. However, he wasn't eatin like them. He was hungry so he did what Camron, Nas and even LL did back then, got Diddyfied. He knew this song would be a commercial hit & fly his album off the shelves and it did. This did kill his career but ya boy felt like he had to eat so he sold out, many do

you guys are acting like mic geronimo had a career before this video. i honestly dont remember any hit songs he made before making this video. (or after making this video as a matter of fact). all i remember was that rap city used to play this video all the time, and we all would change the channel to sportscenter, or cartoon network immediately, because this video was extremely wack.

I really dont think its because he went commercial i think its the amount he paid for the beat that puffy did here and i doubt i would let puffy(diddy) manage me but this was a pretty cool joint and this was the only single off his vendetta album i'm sure he would of got a pass if the second single was hot but he only had one single off this album..
