Aidan quinn looks and sounds nothing like Paul but as a hardcore fan of his I have to say he NAILED his body language which is a trademark of his!! First Paul that I see that has a convincing performance. And what I love about this film is the REAL closeness the two shared despite tehir love/hate relationship. Those two LOVED each other no end!!

at this point in his life,john was a shut-in,so to speak. he was jealous of paul,being able to have a #1 album,but john just did not want that life anymore. paul,on the other hand,could not just stop wrighting,and recording music. it was his life. and yes,i saw a lennon interview,and john did say that he was jealous of paul and ringo at this time.

@RazrHack well actually 1976 or something. Paul Called John to reunite the beatles but Yoko Answered and paul said to yoko to give the message to john but yoko didnt say anything to john or something like that.. i read it on the internet.. so basically yoko stopped the beatles from reuniting.

I'm two parts in and watching this part. I think Aidan does a good Paul accent but I think they poofed his hair too much so that Aidan could look like him. Jared Harris doesn't sound like John. Just a little. He's got the look and feel but not the voice. From what I read, Paul liked this movie. I'll have to keep watching.
