  • Venant d`Edea ou Yaounde, entree Dogpassi Village A Douala

  • did any of u notice how many toyota corolla cars passed within those 2 mins? AMAZING!

  • I Like the Cameroonian Music !

  • @januszkonarski it's not cameroonian music, it's Tracy Chapman

  • This is normal...

  • dayum....almost hit dude at 0:55

  • No traffic lights? lots of bikes too.

  • Hello...

  • I realise there r a lot of yellow cars on the road, r those taxis or privately owned cars? And quite a lot of tall men, like at 1:00 and 1:10. Someday I like to visit Douala, heard it's one of the most expensive cities in the world. Not sure though by looking at the sorry state of the flea market. Anyway, thx for the video. I like it.

  • The yellow cars are mostly taxis. According to Mercer's Cost of Living Index Douala Ranks as 19th most expensive city in the World for Expatriates. I would agree with this ranking as the cost of some items is very high. Example: Our office internet connection is a 256k link and this costs $2000 per month.

  • Thank you so much? i don't know what to say i am crying too much out of joy and i miss my family so seing this is hard

  • I'm actually a bit surprised about the smoothness of the pavement and the fairly-large number of late model cars including a BMW or two. It's probably a good thing for traffic flow that they haven't thought of installing parking meters in this apparent shopping/flea market district.

  • merks62 are you a fucking idoit??? just because it is not U S standards does not mean that sophiscation and class does not exist in third world countrys your such a typical American just plane ignorant

  • Cameroon technicaly is a 3rd world country, and while I was not suprised, its not abnormal for people to be suprised that a 3rd world country still has some form of an economy, but then again I live in South Africa, so I know better.

  • You're surprised by the smooth pavement and BMW cars in Douala are you???Well News flash...people do drive BMW cars in Africa...i'm sure you're surprised there were no elephants and lions on the streets......ignorant twat

  • Those bike people, les bensikineurs... as they call them keep that town abit safe (even though some of them are them self involved in crime) I witness them chase down a thief and almost beat the life out of that dude. i bet that dude will never go back to stealing!

  • Not really sure I understand what's "crazy" about this. It looks like you came in on a smooth day with hardly any traffic.

  • wonders. How do they drive in that chaos? Thanx for the video, brings back some real fond memories of home.

  • Makes me kind of home-sick, yet I was born in Canada, my wife is back in Limbe, we traveled this section of road a number of time while touring timber mills.....

The driving is not crazy, just different.....

    Lignator

  • That's the road the comes in from the east is it not.

  • Its the road coming into the city from Edea/Yaounde

  • Brings back memories. Last time I was there there where potholes in most of the roads leading into Douala. Whats funny is that they have a bunch of volcanic rocks from Mt. Cameroon and they don't do anything with them.

  • They drive like this all over Cameroon, but in Douala the roads are at least smooth-ish!

  • They drive like us here in Rome!
