I thought they were to judge this on how well they dance, not who they dance with....:( I was looking forward to this one too....does anyone know what song she was going to dance to??
The real mistake was the theme they chose for their performance. I think dance 2014 was right that they should have chosen something more relevant to them as a father & daughter (maybe something like Rod Stewart "Forever Young").
It's too bad the judges couldn't be more professional about their critiques, but it's a lesson that being different doesn't mean alienating your audience - you still have to connect with them. She didn't have her audience in mind & that's why this dance failed.
i dont think that dancing with her dad was the problem i just think that the choice of music may not have been the best. it made the situation totally awkward. if they would have chosen a song that was about growing up or memories it would have been sweet. the song choice was just bad..i dont really know what to think of the dance they didnt let her get far enough into it to seeeee.
What a ridiculous argumentation. She's DANCING. Is it better to dance with someone you hardly know? And it's a fact that in some choreos partners get pretty touchy, so why should it be wrong and odd to dance with someone she knows probably better than anyone else out there? Whatever..

I though the dancing was beautiful but considering how intimate the partners of the dance had to be and the fact that they are related made me a bit uncomfortable as well.
I actually thought that the movements were fluid and well put together but honestly I would have stress the dad thing a lot too because that just made me REALLY uncomfortable.....and im from alabama lol jk

Wow, all that because her parteneur was her dad? so what? it's a dance, they're not fucking in the middle of the dancefloor. Besides, i guess her father is also a dancer, so she might (might) have learned from him... so i guess they feel comfortable dancing with each other. I must say, in this case, as beauty, perversion is in the eye of the beholder.
