  • rambo go home the war is over idiot

  • @magardungia LOL, Rambo used exploding arrows

  • I just want to say to all the animal rights activists who have posted comments on this video,

    *Ehem*

HES A BOWHUNTER LIKE ME. WE DON'T CARE.

There isn't anything wrong with your cause, but trying to change the world by spending your time with flamewars on youtube is really STUPID. Did Ghandi or MLK get anything done by bitching all over the internet?

Be something more than an annoyance to mankind and mabe DO SOMETHING about it.

  • nice shootin tex, i shot one with my bow last year, the arrow bounced off a tree and pinned 3 of his legs to the ground. this year i might try to make a video XD

  • I don't have any squirrels where I live anymore, me and my neighbor shot them all. Worthless little bastards have chewed through my telephone wires 4 times in 10 years and chewed through my neighbors electrical wiring in his attic twice and almost burnt his house down. The little bastards had to go.

  • @firebird0u812 they are very destructive, chewed up my one friends truck wiring

  • You had to relieve me from posting? Hmm, wrong again. Big surprise there. But yet you have finally said something that made sense. "Some people just don't get it." Once you wake up and become a conscious person. You will realize it's you. I tell you what, what if i said I'm going to come to your house, and when you least expect it, shoot you in the heart with a bow to show you how it feels?

  • @TheLightbringer777 I"d would say that making threats over the internet of death to another human is highly illegal and then I would have to imform you that I will be turning this over to the FBI via your IP address. But then your the kind of person that puts the life of a animal over a human, I bet your a pro abortion too .

  • @TheLightbringer777 That's a good idea.Threaten someone in a public forum.I'm sure there'll be a lot of witnesses for the Prosecutor to call on should you work up the courage to carry that threat out.

  • @LifeMystery777:I couldn't find your post but yes,I could go to the grocery store but where's the challenge there?ALL the defenseless animals which are farm grown are taken there wrapped in plastic for those who don't hunt to buy & eat. In my garden,I still take out a few squirrels because if I didn't,they'd eat the corn & other veggies I was growing for the table.I'm growing them for me,not for them. Why can't they go find a pecan or oak tree to feed from?

  • @doughesson I had to relieve him from posting LOL, some people just don't get it.

  • @LifesMystery777 LMAO, thanks again for the good laugh

Do you have any knowledge of how animals bodies and nervous systems work ? Well animals have an endogenous opiods that once attacked kicks in , like adreneline , and it blocks pain. Ever watch Animal World or any nature show and see a lion eating an animal while the animal is still alive and the animal is just laying there not making a sound ? How could that be ? probably because of what I just typed above.

  • @LifesMystery777 LOL, ha ha ha ha ha, get real, are coyotes Satans workers too ? How about raptors, ie.. birds of prey like hawks and eagles ?

  • @bowhunterjohn63 Like I said befor, apparently you can't read. That they must kill to survive and there is nothing wrong with that. But yes actually you are right, Good and evil exist in all of life.

  • @LifesMystery777 you need to look in the mirror and read this post to yourself , you are the one putting yourself higher then me.

Keeping us company LMAO, thanks I'm going to use that in the future LOL, Oh, those grizzlies kept the Griz guy company, he wanted to become one with them and he did, one big pile of bear dung, good ridance, too bad he fooled that poor girlfriend to come up and she got killed too

  • @bowhunterjohn63 Yes actually being killed by a Griz would be an awesome way to die. But i'd prefer to go by tiger if I could choose.

  • @LifesMystery777 LOL HA HA HA HA , they are rats, of the rodent family, don't see anything productive they have made o this earth, and Buddism is a joke, a religion made up by a super rich, bored kid to try and justify why he had more then others LOL thanks for the laughs

  • @bowhunterjohn63 So you are like Rats are some lower form of life or something? Like because they look funny or something they aren't good enough to live in your world? And I doubt you know the first thing about Buddism. I love how people like you just state bullshit like it's a fact. And bored rich kid? Nope sorry totally wrong. Why you don't actually look it up and read alittle about befor you make some retarded judgement.

  • @bowhunterjohn63 I'll have you know if not for Rodents, humans wouldn't even be here today. After the dinosaurs died it was the rodents that survived and created the race of mammels that we are today.

  • Haha hunting in the park, that was awesome subbed :P

  • lolololo

  • man and i thought it was just me and my dad that called squirrels tree rats. guess others think the same

  • dont eat rodents its in the bible

  • @natureperson420 Where

  • @natureperson420 its also in the bible that a man without a penis wont go to heaven.. guess you are SOOL pal..

  • @natureperson420 Genesis 9:3 "Every living thing that moveth shall be meat for you." That proves to me that hunting & eating what you kill is honorable & okay with the Lord.

  • @doughesson Sorry to be the one to break this to you guys. But the bible is a bunch of bullshit written down in the bronze age when they still thought the world was flat and science did not exist.

  • @LifesMystery777 Believe what you will, friend. One of us is going to be real surprised when we die, won't we?

  • @doughesson No actually, I think we all will be real surprised when we die, brother. But some more then others.

  • squirrel brain and eggs!

Why do people think there is no meat on just one squirrel? Do they not realize that in a diet your only supposed to eat 4oz of meat. One squirrel is plenty for a single meal.

All i see when a person is complaining, is uneducated idiots trying to quote opinionated guesses they think are facts. "Save a squirrel bow hunt idiots, they have more meat"

  • @Labyrnthdom

Yes squirrels do have enough meat for a meal, your right the suggested meat serving size per meal is 4 oz, however in America the land of over indulgence, 4 oz isn't enough LOL.

One thing about squirrel , they are high in cholesterol, so I don't eat too many, however they are really good to eat

  • Does 1 squirrel have enough meat to fill a 14 year old?

  • @AtvingGuitarGuy

depends on the squirrel and the kid, probably

  • Is eating squirrel normal in America? Now I've seen everything.

  • @2smokefinny Yes, fried squirrel and gravy if very good. They need to be cooked properly, but are great table fare

  • @bowhunterjohn63 yeah but its not normal

  • @bowhunterjohn63 hell yea my fave is squirrel gravy

  • @2smokefinny I don't know where the gentleman in this video is from but here in south Louisiana, we eat anything that won't eat us first, and some things that would if they had the chance, like alligator. I have traveled all over the world with my job and you would be surprised what people eat, and what actually tastes good. Fried squirrel with buiscuts and gravy, man I grew up on that stuff. Or squirrel Jambalaya you can pop the heads and eat the brain and tounge too. It's very tasty!!!

  • @2smokefinny Yes,it is normal.Squirrels are plentiful & very reproductive which is why there are quite liberal bag limits on them. They can be used in any recipe calling for chicken because the meat is velvety in texture and takes on whatever you season with.

Squirrel hunting is the 1st type of hunting kids usually get into & the stalking techniques, outside of the yard, can also get you in range of some nice deer as well.

  • @doughesson Maybe I'll blast a squirrel and try it out. Like the old saying goes: "Don't knock it, 'till ya rock it". I think I may have to find out the laws here in Canada first though, not so sure whats allowed.

  • @2smokefinny Glad to hear it.If you bowhunt, there shouldn't be too much troble involved. My personal theory is so many people get into bowhunting because there is a lot less BS involved in buying the gear as opposed to buying a firearm with which to hunt. Good luck with it and stay safe.

  • Squirrels are just fluffy rats........ Kill 'em all!!!

  • ok nice shot in all for a ten yard hit.... but stopfucking calling em tree rats cuz there squirlls and dam god to eat, every one calls em tree rats just because they think there cool, im geting fucking tired of it, then in some cases its actually pest control, butmost people shoot em and say they damage there shit when realy they dont, justfor fun, i shoot squirllls for fun and i eat em(i give u props cuz they good) just dont call em tree rats an call em dinner, unless your in to eating rats

  • @freakwarrior It was a 18 yard shot and I eat them, and woudl eat a rat if I had too LOL

  • Cool shot! I got a gray squirrel this week with my 1970s Bear Kodiak Hunter 50# recurve, using GT Pro Hunter 3555 .500 spines cf shafts weighted internally with 100g, then tipped with a 125gr G5 SGH. 225gr total tip weight. Taking the 15 yard shot in front of my wife, as a witness, I hit the balllsy little thief in the eye. Heheheheeeee!!! Diabolical!!! And yummy!

  • i do not think it would take much to kill one of these...maybe even a small kids recurve.

  • Probably right, good practice for deer season and I love fried squirrel and taters , win/win situation for me :)

  • Did you use a broadhead?

  • Practice head for a Rage 2 blade, makes a great small game head

  • nice shot love it man u need to make more vids like this and just today i am not lieing to u but i shot my first squirrel with a bow but i shoot them all the time with my 20 guage but first one with a bow!!!!!!! nice vid...

  • sold the hide and ate the meat, yummmmy fried squirrel and mash taters

  • No I mounted it in the frying pan that evening :)

  • do you thing a 100 lbs crossbow could kill a squirrel???

  • nope

  • @cheeselyman haha yeah it would go right throught lol prolly wouldnt find the arrow

  • A 20 lb bow can take one out...

if you hit one at the right angle, the bolt would pass through

  • awsome ...

  • Squirel on a stick :P

  • lol he dropped his nut quickly

  • @conkilla76 dropped his nut and dropped his other two rofl!

  • rednecks in suburban areas

  • squirrel shishkabob (on the arrow) hahaha. i`m gonna try this in fall if i don`t see any deer.

  • won't have the field dress video until season starts this fall, howver I will have a cooking squirrel video in July

I have a wild game BBQ around the 4th every year, the video will follow shortly after

  • honey bbQ glazed squirrel mmmmmphmphSLURP.

  • why I never anyone skinning and cooking these animals after they kill them or is it all just for "fun".?

  • Most people do not want to see that, I included that on one other squirrel video and a bunch of pansy ass PETA ass kissers started crying, even death threats.

    Give it a break

I do eat the squirrels, have 4 good recipes for them, best is "candy BBQ'd glazed squirrel, out of this world

  • I am not a peta and if you going to eat it then I guess it ok.

  • yeah and i think youtube doesnt allow that or something like that

  • that sounds pretty good if they are equal to us why dont they have bows? lol

  • and theres usually not time in 10 minutes to show the whole hunting scene and then do a whole part on skinning

  • I am going to make a short video on a quick, efficient and clean method to field dress a deer this fall

  • sweet ill sub :)

  • they do eat them and they are good...my grandpa makes squirrel gravy..it is squirrel meat pieces in the gravy..also there is alot of meat on the legs and back.u can also make pelts out of the hide.

  • awesome!

  • awesome shot...

  • i dont get how you can hit a target that small, repect

  • Thanks,

I practice shooting squirrels at 18 yards , that way when I deer hunt I have no problem hitting the vitals.

Plus I LOVE fried squirrel. I also tried to grind squirrel meat with some deer meat and it actually madea really nice hamburger

    John

  • mate that was a killer shot!, I need to practice more with my bow, we live in maine so its great hunting, although i use a rifle more often then a bow.

  • Maine, B E A U T I F U L !!!

I love bow hunting, but also enjoy gun too

    Thanks for the comment

  • haha no problem

  • i live in the woods, and my nosey neighbor was spying on me and pulling her phone out and calling who i thought was the cops.... i live in Massachusetts, is it illegal for me to kill squirrels in my land?

  • usually state and town ordinances prohibit the discharging of a weapon (whereas a weapon is described as anything that shoots a projectile with intent to kill aka gun/bow) within town/ city limits, however if you and your wooded area house are outside of city limits then there usually is no law that prohibitatis (although your states Game and Fish may have a squirrel season) you killing squirrels on your property, again only if it is outside of city limits

  • Nice shot mate. I always have trouble bow hunting squirrels. Often get away even with arrow/bolt in them.

  • Nice shot, I hate squirrels, like you said "Tree Rat" ;) I'm gonna have to borrow that term from ya.

However, I am against hunting deer. But man, that arrow, that's like 180 LBs x bow, that seems overk*ll for a small rodent. +5

  • This is how I practice for deer season, in order to be efficient .

Why you against deer hunting? I feed my family with the over populated deer, help keep them off the roads and not hurting humans and eating our crops.

My family loves me, farmers love me, insurance agents love me.

I have a lot of respect for deer and their abilities, but they do need to be controled.

Try this phrase to for squirrel:

    " ornamental rat"

  • Hi BowHunterJohn, well, Deer are smart and majestic creatures, that's why. You do have a point, keeping the population low, and I sorta agree, however it's a paradox if you put it that way.

The New World Order wants to exterminate 90 percent of the world population, taking out the "undesirables" aka stupid people who can't think and are brainwashed. I'm not saying you are, just people in general according to them. If you're not an Elite Corporation, then to them you're part of the slaughter.

  • And to be honest, I agree with the New World Order, but they do this world genocide in a sickening way, from chemtrails, to food contamination to fluoride and scalar weapons.

They use sex on TV as a form to control the people, and that's partly why the human population is going through the roof. People tearing down forests to build condos, and that's the main reason why humans keep running into animals.

I think you would agree, we the people don't control the country anymore.

  • i gotta say the song is the cherry on top man, great shot.

  • Thanks,

This is how I practice for whitetail season.

If ya can hit a tree rat , then you can hit a deer LOL

Plus they taste mighty good fried up

  • i am amazed the squirrel did not die right away. thats like getting shot with a log to that squirrel

  • It didn't make it too long or far, think it jumped , ran a few steps then was out

  • you ate that little thing?

    one plate only?

  • I added it too others and had a nice BBQ of "candy apple BBQ squirrel"

    Very good !!!

  • nice one instant kebab just add coal im gonna have to try squirrel as soon as i get a shoot permision

  • nice suck to be that squrril

  • OWNED!

  • nice one dude what bow you using he was like whats tht guy pointing his long sticks at i should go over there and POW holy shit (wiggle wiggle wiggle)

  • dude I got tons of the same videos!!!!!!!!!Good for you man keep it up.I have a tweetybird on my utube vids as well. You should check it out.Peace.

  • wat else could u do with a dead el than "eat" it

  • Incredible shot! I'm impressed! Excellent marksmanship!

  • btw what is the song you used is this video

    ????

  • First one I believe was Kiss - Parasite lady

Second was Credance Clearwater Revival ( CCR) Fortunate son

  • btw i forgot to ask but did you shoot that bolt right in it's ass lol

  • I like Cats, want to trade recipes?

  • kill and eat its the only way..try eating before ya kill them

  • That looked sad for the squirrel. Minding his own buisness and you go over and kill it... I still kinda liked the way it fell over and flew though. lol

  • Well I was hungry for fried squirrel, gravy and mash taters. If you never had it your missing out.

And he kept eating the bird seed meant for the birds. You don't see the birds eating the acorns meant for the squirrels LOL

  • Lol I guess he got what was coming to him then. XD

  • Nice, I use a crossbow pistol when hunting in the city, 90lb draw goes right through most vermin and dead quiet. Easy to conceal and aim to.

  • HOW CRUEL! lol just kidding that makes me want to buy a bow

  • It's squirrel, not tree rat, learn to use truth names.

  • Truth names?

For you knowledge, squirrels are the rat family, look it up

  • For your knowledge - squirrels are squirrels, not rats!

  • Umm, no they are of the rat family, check it out before you start passing judgement on others, you should have your facts straight.

  • tree rat, squirrel... makes no difference. Names a name but the critters still the same. Still tastes the same no matter what you call it.

  • But these two kinds belong to else family

    Squirrel = Sciuridae

    rat = Muridae

  • lol..... I know. What I was saying was that no matter what you call them, a squirrel is still a squirrel. I understand that they are not rats. I was stating that people call them tree rats. Either way, I eat em'.

  • squirrels are of the rat family, PERIOD

  • Rodents divides to two group.

    With squirrel teeth

    With mouse teeth

With squirrel teeth, there belong squirrels and pouched marmot

With mouse teeth, there belong mice and rats etc.

It means squirrels ARENT of the rat family, squirrel are of the squirrels family!

  • You need to call the animal planet show and rewrite some text books

You answered your comment in the beginning by stating they are of the rodent family

Either way, they taste mighty good !

  • sweet lol i love the nose it made

  • Great shot, those urban tree rats sure are fun to shoot. Cool video!

  • PWND!!!! how far away were you when you shot it? what kind of bow did you shoot it with and what's your poundage?

  • I was about 18 yards away, used a Mathews Outback 70lb draw weight.

  • holy hell, 70lbs for a rodent, ahahahaha.

  • I use a matthews as well..great bows!

  • Get r' done

  • A new meaning to "meat on a stick"!!!

  • fuckin awesome vids dude. 5 stars. great shooting, btw!

  • was that supper?

  • good shot. nice vid
