Constant support for puppet dictators, overthrow of democratically elected governments, unwavering support for israel and its attrocities and US military presence. Mid east only way to combat these issues has been to rely on religion and constant oppression only furthers religious doctrines. Same as US when opportunities are slim, religion grows
