"Around fifty People Armed Police (PAP) and Public Security Bureau (PSB) officials in several military trucks came to Labrang this afternoon (4 November) at around 1:00 PM (Beijing Standard Time) and barged into a Tibetan home from where they arrested Jigme and took him away in a military vehicle. And nobody knows where he was taken to and for what reason".

Jigme raconte devant la caméra comment il a été traîné dans une voiture en plein jour, comment il a été harcelé, questionné, torturé. Ses tortionnaires ne lont relâché que quand il sest trouvé au seuil de la mort. Il a alors pu être soigné, aux frais de sa famille.
Après son rétablissement, Akhu Jigme a enregistré ce témoignage.

I have listened carefully to HH Dalai Lama & am convinced he is a man of peace who reflects the hopes & aspirations of Tibetans. I urge the government of the PRC to address the root causes of unrest in Tibet by opening a genuine dialogue with HH Dalai Lama, aimed at granting greater autonomy."
