@mono14 if you watch other videos online, you can hear the plane giving the Altitude as its getting close, usually coming into Princess Juliana Airport they are 50+ ft, which is much taller than a human, not to mention the actual runway is higher than the beach so as they come in its almost perfect touch down.

In New Zealand where I live, you are not allowed anywhere near the big jets as they take off or land. Auckland Airport made everyone go to a parking area about a half kilometre from the airport, and that's where you can watch the planes take off. You can watch them go up in the airport too from a viewing window, but you don't get to see them until they are almost up in the air. People standing by the runway is dangerous i think.
