Shining Force. Seriously, Camelot, get on this. Shining Force is not only the game that got me into video games, but it's a damned good game to boot. Golden Sun is also amazing (and I am so psyched for Golden Sun DS), but Shining Force is so much better IMHO. It was one of the iconic strategy RPGs, and a Shining Force IV would be much appreciated. Even the sequel is fantastic (never played III or CD), and it's sad that it died after III...Bring it back Sega/Camelot! Only you guys can do it!
Sly Cooper! It's quiet a fun retro like platformer with 3 games on the PS2 and I thought it would be cool to see it make a comeback on the PS3 with a more fluid 2D look. Kinda like Blueblaze, but a more Saterday morning cartoon look and looks like the cutsecens in the PS2 titles.
I think Capcom would do well to release another entry in the Cyberbots/Tech Romancer series. Every part and parcel of those games was dripping with references, homages, and parodies to all the popular giant robot series, from Gundam to Mechwarrior. The fighting was pretty good too!
I think, now that 11 years have passed, there's a lot of new ground they could cover in a new entry. And, gaming has grown to a point where it might even do OK in sales. Maybe even a DLC entry, to test the waters.
OVERBOARD!!! COOKIES FOR ANYONE WHO REMEMBERED THAT! You americans might know it as Shipwreckers. It would be awesome as a Wiiware, PSN, XBLA title. There are a whole lot of things that could have been improved.
One game that really needs a follow up is Demon's Crest for theSNES, that game was just amazing, though technically it would be a new entry on the Gargoyle's Quest saga, but if Capcom decides to allow it happen it will be the shit, as Ghouls & Ghosts is part of the same universe, with a little thinking it would be an awesome game.
I say Battletoads would be a great title to be remade. I say keeping it a side scroller but with updated graphics and online co-op play would make this a great game to pick up.
I wouldn't mind seeing a new game in the style of Fortified Zone (GB) or Operation Logic Bomb (SNES). Maybe it could be a digital title on all three consoles or a PSP Mini.
I used to keep a list of the 4 games that I wanted to see redone on modern platforms. Those games were Blaster Master, Bionic Commando, Rygar, and Kid Icarus. All of these games have since been redone, with the exception of Kid Icarus. That's the one I'd most like to see come to the Wii, whether it be a full 3D Metroid-type game, a 2.5D, or even (especially) a true 2D game. Heck, I'd even accept a WiiWare Rebirth game.
I would love to see a castlevania game be made however it would be the classic gameplay of castlevania. I mean the gameplay of castlevania 1,3, and 4. So no rpg elements involved just linear platformer at its best.
Kind of topical I guess actually, but the name of the game is Ninja Spirit. It is a really cool game on the Turbo-Grafx 16 with really tight controls, cool music and graphics, and awesome powerups. It's cool how you can powerup each of your weapons to a more powerful form, but the real awesome powerup is the shadow one. You can get 2 shadows of yourself that will go in the same exact path as you, so if you jump and don't move when you land, the shadow won't drag and will stay in mid-air.
Great response. I couldn't agree more. This would be a perfect fit for a downloadable game. I can still remember dreading that final area where you dropped down a a long vertical tunnel while throngs of enemy ninjas quickly flew upwards towards you. I'm lucky the Turbo Grafx has such a durable controller. :)

Oh man, you're not kidding. The cel shaded thing would be cool, but even cooler would be a true 2-D remake with graphics akin to Blaz Blue. High res 2-D sprites = hawt.
I would love to see the continuation of the Klonoa series with a full-fledged Klonoa 3! Sure, they remade the first one for the Wii, albeit even easier than it already was, but I would like to see a true sequel.
I would like to see a new Metal slug and a brand spanking new dragon spirit.can you imagine those being revamped that would be so awsome, maybe even Do Don Pachi. You didnt say no no to imports. :D
And last but not least a brand new Demons crest, made for SNES and was an awsome side scroller and there was another one called gargoyles quest for nes which was the first one.
Dragon Spirit = YES. Demon's Crest = YES YES. Though Do Don Pachi has had a few sequels already. The first was a direct sequel to Do Don Pachi named Bee Storm: DoDonPachi 2. Sadly is wasn't made by Cave and isn't up to par with the original. More recently Cave developed the fourth title, DoDonPachi Dai Ou Jou on the import PS2, and then a Black label version on the import 360.
im gonna go with ether a shatterhand ds or dsiware remake/revival or a new psychic force game both franchises that were killed of prematurly by either bat timing in tearms of new and more powerful consoles coming out and both are a helluva lot of fun to play although shatterhand had only one game psychic force had 3 but they both were full of unrealized brilliance.
That game was hella fun. They did a great job with the day stages in Sonic Unleashed, and I can imagine that speed being used to blast through the sky as Spark!
