It's just his dash but it seems very unsafe to use especially against beam characters like Ryu or Tekkaman since it might be hard to stop his running on a dime
So according to your description, a lot of the people there were polite and good sports? I usually never got that vibe from a lot of gamers myself, kinda why after MvsC2, I quit fighting games.
Well that and, MvsC2 was the only latest fighting game I got in arcades over here, not until SF4.
It really depends with who you play. In games like MvsC2 people are way too serious. I assume this can be as a result of everyone choosing the same 4 characters in that game and they have to be better than the rest...
This game, since it wasn't in the states yet and is on Wii, will grab the attention of more casual players who are enjoying the variety of chars from both sides some new some old.
I play the game seriously but I really do enjoy playing it more so for fun than anything else
Can I just reiterate that this game is AWESOME! Zero's supers look to be basee around tactics than just ripping them out whenever the opponent is open. The Hyper Hadoken "rainbow laser" super combo is a good example by confusing the opponent with wierdly placed attacks and timings.
1) like a combination of Rekkouha and Ganzanha? i like it
2) i agree to an extent. while i do like Shippuuga as a good "rushing" attack, it covers a bit too much distance relative to his size on screen and can get pretty annoying on both ends.
3) love the idea, just as long as it's not overpowered, know what i mean? lol
Ryuenjin is move from megaman x4 lol. Yamashita is one of my faves. I never saw suzuki or hiroshima play, i'll have to check them out. Cowabunga is a fun character to watch though lol.
"A genei-jin style super where Zero clones himself, creating a doppleganger. The shadow follow-ups only appear when he's doing special moves, though."
Just got this game, pretty good.

From what I have seen, if I had the opportunity to add or change things about Zero, this is what I would do:
1) The punch in the beginning of the Rekkouha should actually hit the opponent, so it can stumble the opponent into the lasers.
2) Get rid of the ground dash attack and replace it with the Raijingeki from X4.
3) Get rid of the Songenmu super, and replace it with the Charged Buster Slash combo from X2 and X3.

Did you check out the ensuizan? It's pretty cool. Zero is going to be a top tier player in evo.

oh yeah Ensuizan was my fave in X6 :) seeing it again is incredible to say the least :D

I think they also added Kougenjin from zero 2. Kuuenbu is pretty cool. I think I'm going to abuse Ryuenjin though! LOL.
