whether Maxie is the old Maxie or a changed Maxie, she's a Happy Maxie because of Spinelli! People change evolve over time. Its her time and spinelli's too. Who cares if she is different .
that makes sense..maxie has always been a caring person. i'm not disagreeing with that. what i was talking about is that she was written realistically as a character in the past. as I've said before. i only get the real honest relaxed maxie when she has conversations with johnny and everyone else outside of spinelli's orbit. the whole speed chatting thing is not her.
The reason Maxie went after Lucky was because she wanted to feel loved and she was willing to keep him by any means once she got him. Although Maxie has done some terrible things I have never interpreted her actions as just pure evil intent. There was always something deeper their. She has always been vengefull and a little kniving but thats about it.
I was talking about the way that Maxie was originally written before Kirsten Storms took over the roll. My interpretation of the way that Kirsten played the roll was of a girl who put up walls to protect herself from being hurt. Both of her parents left, she lost Jesse, Coop, and Georgie. She only showed the side of her that Spinelli brought out to the people closest to her such as Robin. Maxie is and has always been a complicated character that is some times difficult to understand.
do yourself a favor and go back as far as 2005 and watch scenes of maxie. you'll see a total different character compared to maximista. cause obviously you must be a new viewer if you actually believe that maxie only acted out cause of her mom. she's been like way before her mom even showed up in the picture. matter of fact she expressed it on numerous occasions that she could careless about her mom and went on with her business.

i personally hate the character of spinelli. he was fun in the beginning when he first arrived on GH as your typical evil teen hacker. Not in the comedic sense..back then his character was abit more serious so he was easier likeable. but now he;s gotten to goofy it's annoying. i just wish the show focused more on the serious edgy characters and backburn spinelli for atleast a month.

We finally get our couple together the way they should have been all along!!! Goes to show that some of the best relationships start out as friendship. Spinelli knows Maxie and makes her want to be more than she is. Maxie gives Spinelli confidence and makes him feel he can be more than what he is as well. It's what a REAL relationship should be!!!
horray for spixie... i have always liked spinelli.. i think he is adorable... so what if he is a nerd.. nerds make the world go around... but i still piss georgie.. i wish they hadnt killed her off.. now her and spinelli were cute together!

I respectfully disagree. Characters like Spinelli are what give us "regular guys" something to hope for. Not every guy has a perfect body, a charming personality and a killer smile. Some of us guys are just awkward, shy and lack self-confidence. When I see a guy like Spinelli with a gorgeous woman like Maxie, it sends the message that even the "geek" can get the girl and that anybody who's the slightest like Spinelli should take heart of that message and never give up.

I'll admit that one main reason I like Spinelli is 'cause I can identify with him. I was awkward when it came to talking to girls, I always had my head buried in my computer and I had very little self-confidence...but that's all part of my reasons for why I love this character: I can see some of myself in him and, like I said before, I'm sure a lot of other people out there like Spinelli see some of themselves in him, too. :-)
I've already found her, though; her and I have been together six and a half wonderful years :-) (I'm jumping the gun. lol Six and a half years this August)
