  • Hey Subdudes,

I lived with Papa Duke and Mud People in New Orleans during 1973-74. Are you singing about the drummer Duke Edwards, played with band Rhinoceros way back when. He was a mover and shaker then. Is Duke still alive and in New Orleans? His wife Evelyn, Evy, daughter Yesmine? I now live in Carencro, Acadiana near Lafayette west of New Orleans. Hedwig Gorski

  • re: Papa Dukie

For live recording, this scares me. Either techs are bad or Subdudes are latest Monkee

    experience.

  • I heard this song on Fordham University's radio station and have been a fan ever since. Makes me want to dance every time.

  • We've been Subdudes fans since 1995 when we first saw them at the Austin Music Hall in Austin Texas! They get better year after year, they are indescribable!

  • Just recently discovered their CD's at my local Barnes and Noble. Great songs and voices. Sounds even better live. Hope I can see them play live some time.

  • as good as the CD's are--the live show is just awesome!!!!!

  • Na na na na na na - Love is a Beautiful Thing. How can't you love this song.
