Many people know already that Micheal Jackson had a pretty big hand in writing the music for Sonic3. It makes me wonder if the genius he was, had been playing arnd with this tune as a original kinda template for his song "Bad." If u listen to it, fits perfectly, and artists do that, play arnd with tunes, and if they leave sumthing. They keep it, change it alittle and use it for another song later.

@tomorowlandude It's probably just the speakers, since I normally do what you do. But like I said, that's all there is that's different between the DS track & the original. Music from a game always tend to differ slightly on different gaming platforms though.
