great to see these rifles getting out, better than most in the price range. Good solid 7.64 byy 54 R and lethal easily to 400 yrds+ if anyone thinks this is an SVD than they are sorely mistaken.
I sold a heavy barrel bolt gun to buy one of these. I'd rather lose 1/2-1MOA and gain a few rapid shots. They are acceptably accurate with the right ammunition (most are 3/4 to 1-1/2MOA). It is used as a DMR and does it well. They are a bargain considering the price of a comparable western semi-auto capable of the same plus optics and gear.
SVD truly has an average accuracy of about 1.5 MOA...that is not very good...most standard hunting rifles can do that and almost any AR 15 can do that. Bolt guns designed for sharp shooters are around .45 or .3 with a few really nice weapons being in the .2X range

Basically what I was getting at was the price of the PSL and the price of its ammo, some people look at over the spot on accuracy 800 yards out. Not everyone shoots competition.

Let me tell you this it takes years to get use to the SVD to be a very effective with it and the gun it's self is good up to 600 meters if ur good u can shoot up to 800 meters above that distance u have to have a lot of hours of practice...You should try the Yugo M76 zastava in 8mm its pretty good.

No... its has the stamped name of a dragunov but its internals are very different from the Russian and Chinese versions... The romanian version is bascially its own set of sniper rifle with the frame of a REAL dragunov

SVD truly has an average accuracy of about 1.5 MOA...that is not very good...most standard hunting rifles can do that and almost any AR 15 can do that. Bolt guns designed for sharp shooters are around .45 or .3 with a few really nice weapons being in the .2X range
