On a more serious note, I just watched her on Piers Morgan. Not only was I dazzled by her incredible natural beauty but I was also mesmerized by her wit and intelligence. And her style -- from makeup to clothes -- is understated timeless elegance. I'd rank her among the Top 5 All Time Greatest Beauties, i.e. Liz Taylor.
Well ... it's a matter of life and death. If she doesn't mate successfully she will die in the next 35 or 40years aprox., as human beings tend to. And all her traits will perish with her.
But if she mates successfully, her offspring will continue her traits for further generations.

As for marriage, it's not necessary for procreation or passing on the genome.
I do think the movie has a nice idea, nice approach to how we would like to see a superhero portrayed, but it all goes limp when we find out that Smith and Theron were together before, then after that you can just guess whats gonna happen. Charlize is a babe though, i have to admitt.
