I think as black women, we are still suppose to see the white man as the "savior". I happen to be single myself and over 40 but the idea of marrying someone other than a black man seems a little scary. When you introduce the concept of children to the equation, mixed children (especially if the parents are together) is hard for them to decide which parent to pick in terms of how they view the world of racism. If two people truly love each other they should be together and race should not be a factor in deciding to date someone. HOWEVER, I think this video made some very good points. Dominant genes are anything from dark skin pigmentation, dark eyes, big ears, big nose, big lips, curly hair, dark hair to be taller or actually being genetically prone or immune to certain ailments. Black people tend to have much stronger African features compared to lighter and smaller European features. You should know this!!!

I'm sorry, but I know more black people( rich and poor, young and old) who are marriages/relationships with other black people. I don't know that many interracial couples. I can count on one hand the amount of interracial couples I have seen in real life. I have seen a lot of white women with black/biracial kids though.

In fact two of my sisters have children by white men and some of my nieces and nephews are biracial and are already having children with non-black people. The area I am from it is very common. Dominant genes are anything from dark skin pigmentation, dark eyes, big ears, big nose, big lips, curly hair, dark hair to be taller or actually being genetically prone or immune to certain ailments. Black people tend to have much stronger African features compared to lighter and smaller European features. You should know this!!!
