@pacouli Same thing for me. I was against evolution until I encountered the genetic evidence. By the time I finished Denis Venema's article, I was a theistic evolutionist. As a result, I've had to adjust my theology--I've found the Reformed doctrine of "concursus" to be very helpful in this regard, as interpreted by Karl Barth ("Divine Accompanying" in Church Dogmatics).

If God can accomplish His will through the free choices of humanity, then why not through natural processes?

And I tend to think that if anti-evolutionists would hold to a stronger view of divine providence and sovereignty, they would not see these natural processes as such a threat.

Concursus divinus / Divine accompanying should be a given.
