It's bizarre that Rome and the bishops come up with interminable & unreadable screeds about God alone knows what, but can't educate priests to preach well. "The biggest part of preparation is prayer." Well said, that poster ! Priests ought to preach on the Biblical text read at Mass, and show how it relates to today. Any number of laity could do that; let there be lay preachers
You keep saying "What the preacher wants to say." What about what God wants said? The biggest part of preparation is prayer. Thus, I'm concerned with "over preparation", which I feel interjects more and more of the preacher and less and less og God? What do you thnk?
