bad for low cuts is right apparently. they say this is a direct result of the dynamic convolution process itself. focusrite mentions this in the faq section of liquid mix 3.0
by saying trusted emulations, you mean these emulations don't get all wonky under 160hz?
@slackmode83 Well, i mean that emulations are seameless and consistent in every setting. In LMix EVERY low cut, begin to cut a 500Hz, but in trusted emulation there are no "surprises", no strange behaviuors (like the one at 1:04 in video). BTW, most of the time what you see on the graph of LM is not what you get, and doens't exist a steep cut filter ad 160. Boost, instead, is very good. Pultec emulations are really really good.
My suggestion: for low cut use always a different plugin.
@WirSindRocker Yes, now it's finally possible to store and recall preset from the gui. But the behaviour in the Low Frequency zone is really weird. LM is definitely not suited for low cuts. I think is more suited for "making a sound" than surgical removing. BTW compressors are really good.
absolutely wonderful song...

Liquid Mix 16 or 32?
WirSindRocker 1 year ago
@WirSindRocker LM32, but it doesn't matter if 16 or 32. It depends on emulations, not on how many channels.

@Dokdude yes, but i was wondering about the new GUI.
Didn´t notice there is Version 3 now.
Downloaded it, and it fixed some bugs for me.
These responses look really strange..
I hate the lowshelfs/lowcuts on the liquidmixes -.-
