  • Three people don't like this.. Three people will go to HELL!!

This is just beautiful for So. Many. Reasons!

  • This song is so fucking lush.......and its over a DECADE OLD!!!!!!!!!! GO BT~!

  • Not bad, but I find myself enjoying TyDi's and John' O Callaghan's style more.

  • One of the all time great tunes, beautiful, haunting, uplifting, timeless. Everything you need to hear from a tune of that era if you are teaching your children about the music from your youth. (Although I might have to gloss over a few other facts)!

  • my god, this song is timeless :D

  • the best classic.. ever...

  • simply THANKS BRIAN!!! we ll never could thanks you enough for all the moments and feelings you gave us with this. Thanks

  • The two people who disliked this video have no soul. No, seriously, we know that's you, Courtney Love and Bob Dole. =P

  • One of the best breakdowns ever!

  • There is NO SUCH THING as Trance music that is as good as/better than this in this day and age. NO. SUCH. THING.

  • Listening to BT's music makes doing the dreaded homework so much more bearable.

  • Youtube ----> Please create an automatic repeat function !

  • @99trance you can have an automatic loop in youtube videos by typing the address a bit differenty, for this video it would be like this: .com/v/GZ9J5-sJw9w&loop=1

  • BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mercury & Solace = Bliss

  • Back when pills were as pure as the music.

  • As the morning creeps up. We're looking for the shade...So many great songs from back in the day.

  • Right after this song, play Way out West - Stealth. They go perfect together.

Better yet, if you have the know-how, mix them together. Sweet music to the ears

  • What an amzing track. If you want to know about the dance scene during mid to late 1990's then this is the one, just listen to the base line kick in from early on. as they say they dont make them like this any more... do they?? the change of tone and echo is savage. sasha does this and more though.

  • I dont know why but i love 2:57 - 3:02. so subtle but yet so passionate.

  • Amazing song. They dont make trance like they used to

  • time goes to fast!!!

  • Akinek ez nem tetszik, annak erősen akad baj a hallásával...

  • ahh yes! memories........

  • i found this track easy to masturbate to.

  • When trance was trance...

  • @L0B03 Yes. Trance back then was so deep and full of emotions. It just transforms you into a different state of mind whenever we listen to real trance. You get entranced, thats why its called TRANCE. I hardly ever heard of any new creations that can approach the depth of this song.

  • @flowingbass

    Aye brother...

  • @flowingbass i totally agree....i LOVE this song!

  • cant imagine the world without bt..

  • I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG!!!...It's one of my top favorite tracks of all time...It's simply amazing how this song still transcends and sends me to places I cant go when I'm fully awake...and its fucking sexyyyyyyyyyy

  • This one has to be right up there with Energy 52's cafe del mar & BBE's 7 days & 1 week. So glad I was around when Trance was still crisp & pure!

  • Having sex to this song is amazing! XD

  • i wonder what would happen if i clicked dislike maybe the universe would implode!!!

  • @miasma30 Reading your comment I wanted to click dislike but I just couldn't make myself do it...I hovered over the button and contemplated it...Then realized I couldn't live myself for being responsible for the end of the universe!

  • @lila636zx

You would'nt want to go down into history as the person that destroyed the universe ;)

  • this song was in Xtreme G Racing Acssociation !

  • pretty song!!

  • Great song and put in my Box :)

  • yes

  • 0 dislikes and counting...

  • big like

  • Fall deep into the trance...

  • THIS SONG WILL NEVER GET OLD!!!!!!!!

  • to hottttt amazinggg greatttt i likee thissss

  • very good music xD i like the track

  • Great Mercury & Solace!

  • This and explander were defining tracks for me what a time in the world of progressive house will remember those times for the rest of my life, unforgettable moments in time...

  • only amazing

  • This is one of the songs that started it all for me if you know what I mean. Absolute beauty.

  • It comes in HARD at 5:36!

  • ASI SE HACE POR SUBIR UNA DE LAS ROLAS BIEN CHINGONAS

  • I had this on cassette, lol, still awesome as ever! 41 years old and nothing compares to techno!

  • yep this is his best this is like the stuff done by jean michel jarre

  • @tigersofpantan: beside that, i don't say so... others say the song is trance. and i doubt those others are wrong by any means, since they are people that have been doing music for years and have been analizing music for years :) The fact that sasha used it and alot others did is just another example of how this song resonates even after 12 years since it's launch.

  • @cristiandatculescu ...`por lo ke tu dices, "Sacred" de S.Kleinengberg, "Amber" de Natious, "My Lexicon" de S.Kleinenberg, "Expander" de Alexander Coe (Shasa), son, segun TU, TRANCE, no??????...HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @tigersofpantan: sasha and digweed and alot of other progressive dj's used to include epic trance songs in their compilation. remember that mercury and solace appeared also on tiesto's in search of sunrise compilation. As i said, do not look at the generic context in which the song is played, but in the theme that is treated by the song, and how it's made. Mercury and Solace is definetly trance.

No matter what genre it is though, it is definetly awesome :)

  • @tigersofpantan the ep in which mercury and solace appeared is catalogued as trance in 1999: discogs.com/BT-Mercury-And-Solace-Disc-2/master/39174 . Let's put it this way: if a trance song appears on a progressive compilation, that does not mean that the song is not trance. it means that the main direction of the compilation is oriented to progressive house.

  • not trance lol, your comment is null and void because this track was trance when trance was TRANCE. i found it under the trance label in the vinyl bins, not some infinite genre that wasnt even described when this track was cut. hands down one of THE greatest trance tracks in my memories of vinyl.

i just wish BT would make more of it.

  • @jasonbussa8 you don't know how right you are .. i so damn miss those days...

  • unbelievable track. I think this and thrillseekers synaethsesia are up there for the best trance ever produced

  • @rallyeandrew ...this is not trance, this is house progressive ;) ......... Incluyed in the album of the global underground: "SASHA IBIZA" (G.U. 013). The best album of the Global Underground for me..... ENJOY!!!! ;)

  • @tigersofpantan lol... get some reading boy... it is trance

  • @cristiandatculescu ...sorry?????. The album SASHA IBIZA is cataloged progressive U.k. of the end of the 90s, exactly 1999. Hey man!!!!!

  • not a single dislike how could anyone really :)

  • AMAZING!!!

  • what a tune !!!

  • ...reach up for it

  • "...i be come with you!!!!!!"

  • everlasting, always reminds me of some good times in late 90's at NYC

  • reach up

     for meeee!

  • reach outtttt for meeee!

  • This tracks works very well for me when I want to settle down and do some college papers ahead of time. Helps me focus and not leave everything last minute.

It's responsible for saving me a lot of stress... and when I listen to it on my own free time (with no work to do), it makes me really happy.

  • my favorite track to listen to when beating alliance in wintergrasp >:D

  • ...very very GOOD!!!!!!!!!. This track is incluyed in the album of the global underground, "SASHA IBIZA" (G.U. 013). Year 1999. the best song of progressive house FOR ME. And the best album of the G.U. for me.............!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Class tune here me owl flowers/ this is what you call proper 'voices- help me i just want to love the old music

  • Wow, I've recently come across BT and I love it...all of it. Very emotional, gives me goosebumps.

  • back when BT was good.

  • as the great Mies Van der Rohe said once ....." less is more" .... this track is clearly plain , and allows us to take business into ourselves , leaving the rest out.

  • The key to this song is patience.

  • I remeber this track from when i was a little kid....good days

  • @thmsNL ...old times friend...!! ;)

  • Reach out for me <3

  • Hey, I kind of liked it when you spelled "indescribable" as "indescrivable" or something like that. Change it back! :F

  • ...incluyed in the album of the global underground, SASHA IBIZA,(G.U.13), year 1999. The best album of the G.U. for me...!!!!!!!

  • I cannot describe what this tune does to me, it is one of the best composed pieces of music I have ever heard in my life. Her haunting vocal makes every nerve ending in my body stand on end.

  • this track has everything on it: the day, the night, the dawn, the city, the beach, the mountains, the space, other galaxies, sunset, beer, wind, warm afternoons, rain, friends, she, family, years of evolution, future, the first moment of the day.

  • 1998 - 2002 best years of trance

  • @lithanor definitely agree

  • @lithanor amen to that comment

  • @lithanor 2002 was MASSSSIVVVEE for me because that's when I was just old enough to actually remember the tunes I was hearing. I'm 18 now (10 years old then) and I remember my brother playing The Sound of Goodbye, Sunspot, stuff like that while I played on my playstation 1.

  • @drionshk

Then you have many thanks to give to your brother :)

I found trance on my own when i was your age. The soundtrack to life = trance.

No other music makes you feel the same, but its not the same for alot of other pple. As hard as i try..they just dont connect. I like to think that you dont choose TRANCE, Trance chooses you :D lol

  • progressive trance doesn't get much better

  • Bllissima

  • bring back juicy tapes!!

  • fantastic tune so many memorys, mixes great with any tune.

  • pretty much as good as trance gets

  • out to paulo who gave me this trak..bournemouth 99 x

  • out to paulo who gave me this trak..bournemouth 99 x

  • el mejor del album, increible

  • 99, the year that trance boomed!!!

  • @Neomorpheous90 from 90`s till 2005 it was awesome years for Trance

  • @hren damn right. Trance started deteriorating after 2003

  • @xalemz yeah, the moment people 'found trance' :)

  • One of the first trance tracks I ever heard and still one of my favs

  • has to be one of my favourite vocal trance tracks of all time!...jesus i was 12 when this came out!....my dad was still trancing to this :)...jan johnston one of the most angelic voices of our times along with emma hewitt! :)

    * * * * *

  • to think, this was the type of music that BT used to make. masterpieces. now unfortunately he has moved on to a new style.

  • to think that this song was created 10 + years ago...

mindblowing to say the least. how the hell is this the first time i heard this song??

  • i forgot what track this is from can someone tell me????

  • Track 7 on Sasha's Global Underground: Ibiza.

  • this track never gets old

  • @1Cocknose1 correctamondo my friend!!! lets just hope Sasha doesnt get old too!!!

  • That is why Global Underground's djs are the best! They compile all but the best sellections. they can make mixes that will last a lifetime. Sasha, Dave Seaman, Paul Oakenfold and Nick Warren are my favorites.

  • This is some good shit, yo!

  • epic classic...pure trance and absolutely captivating melodic echos of Jan.

  • search out Quivver's Transatlantic Remix (either with or without vocals by Jan Johnston)...of this song.

  • epic trance

  • this song is hot for a trance beat

  • i love this tune,amazing!

  • jesus..........it's just simply amazing.

  • @fritznerbakken it sure is

  • Sik vocalist Jan Johnston kills it everytime .....BT not ball tickler but Brian Transeau

  • Amazing song, and this is the best mix of it - I love the bit where she hums at 2:58. Jan is the invicible trance goddess, her voice blew me away the first tiem I heard it (BT's Remember) and continues to do so up until today.

  • such a great song and a great mix.....

i simply love it., helps me in my work routine.. it is my adrenalinee.....

  • great tune BT never fails

  • always loved and will continue to love this track, simply stunning.

  • i love this track but i just wanna know the relationship btw awarness and the fruit of life !!

  • VIBES!!! *thumping beats*

  • OH ! Undescribable...

    Awareness, the fruit of Life

    Vibes...

  • I liked Sasha's edit of this track on GU013 ibiza , i could imagine people going wild when he dropped it :)

  • most definatley.. that whole album is the best of the g.u series in my opinion, such a great progresive album & tunes like.. expander, fibonacci sequence, heven scent , my lexicon, deep progress & of course this just cements its place in the place deserves to be! (the top)

  • amazing, thx

  • Who's the sketchy kid at the party..??..

  • esta cancion me encanta!!!

Acaso existe algo mejor que te lleve al extasis en un dos segundos

  • oh my GOD.....

  • BT - old school trance legend

  • to think about it, he was one of the first and finest vocal trance artists

  • he was. thats why he's know as the 'godfather of trance'. he began as a producer, not a dj. now if you wanna talk popularity, obviously tiesto/avb/pvd win. but if you wanna talk longetivity, point at paul oakenfold. but bt really was the one who brought trance to the forfront to where it is nowadays.

the piano is reminesent of robert miles children, the beat like ferry corstens & bass well done, vocals superb like chicane's saltwater, & the buildup/climax/breakdown are near perfection.

  • awesome >,> ...

  • sooo uplifting!!!

  • Great great track! First time I heard it I thought it was Bjork! haha i was a fool. One of BT's best work. Awesome, can't get enough!

  • Fuckin Hardcore!... Love it... Still hammer it on 12"...

  • thumbs up mate!

  • Same here, love the cover art too.

  • Waouh! Quelle skeud.
