Yea, Its pretty obvious that throwing any form of HDD at a wall and dropping to concrete its screwed. I would have liked to see what it would be like if they checked the drives between each test. Even though the HDD was screwed after the first one.

i've had that happen to a customers laptop drive This was with a external case plugged into my desktop running windows 7 .. I ran some data recovery software and got all the data back ... the hard drive was corupt ... then formated the drive and it worked fine... it might not be as damaged as you think it is
