  • science is one of the difficult subject in me in school days, but it's nice to have topic like this on youtube.

  • @conners84 this one is circa 137MW boiler with a 48MW turbine

  • American farmers were convinced to grow bio-fuel plants, results ; raise of grain-prices , that will continue so. Overproduction of bio-fuel: lower prices, Fuel-industry ads more than 10 % ( E 10 ) because its is cheap but older engines don't like it.

Recent engines are E-10 compatible, but not E -15- compatible, well that E-15 is what we found actually in gasstations in Germany, France & the USA.

    Germans boycot that E-10 -fuel.

  • It looks like a concentration camp. Are you sure it's not to utilise maybe.... dead bodies, after a massive extinction type event? Using dead bodies for fuel after, maybe, a huge pandemic kills a major swathe of the population? A pandemic that might be....engineered by the world's elite to bring population levels down amid the chaos and anarchy of a falling empire? Biomass, eh?

  • Biomass looks set to be the "new wind". Biomass plants have the potential to yield much higher returns than other renewable resources. A well-executed plant can deliver substantially greater ecoomies of scale than wind. And the heat generated from incineration can supply neighbouring buildings - creating anoher revenue stream

  • I operated a biomass unit in the States for several years, what a complete pain in the arse ... at a aero peaking unit now, much MUCH nicer :)

  • Is there a way to get a video of this Biomass plant in operation?

  • That's quite big.

    What fuel is used?

Wood chips or reused wood or both?

  • WOW!!! It's Steven's Croft Biomass Power Plant in Lockebie!! I worked there 2 years ago! Generator capacity is 50MW burning60t/h of biomass!

  • This isn't the largest in the UK, a biomass power plant exist in Teesside and is a 120MWt BFB boiler with 35MWe turbine.

  • Coooollllllll...mate....i wonder what the capacity is? ..Can you tell me what the tall building in the middle holds...i mean what process????

  • its a concentration camp !

  • nice..to watch.. technical specification missing

  • So what? There are no guts.

Nice animation but where's the beef?

How is this supposed to work?

    What kind of biomas material?

    What capacity? Throughput? Waste?

  • big frank works here

  • How many MW?
