A leader in so many ways. I'll never forget singing Faure's Requiem with the Pacific Chorale and Pacific Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Bobby McFerrin. Then someone asked him to do his "voicercising," for the audience (on a stage of classical musicians!). We all loved it so much. Then in the middle of his vocal performance (appalingly!) someone's cell phone went off in the audience. Without missing a beat, he held his hand to his ear-in character and said "I'll get it!" We cracked up!
I had the opportunity to work with Mr. McFerrin and the man who wrote this song. We sang this and 2 other songs and it was absolutely amazing. It was so, special and this song really just made me so happy to sing. :)
Man.. I cant get enough of this man and his voice. I would have to rate him as one of the most talented vocalist/musicians that has ever lived. To be able to do what Bach and all those did, but with his voice... simply amazing

McFerrin has such a flexible voice, it's incredible..do some of you know his...well..concert solo?...I dont know if that has any name...
