Your mother probably doesn't want you doing it because it's dangerous, but assure her you can be trained professionally to work around that. As for GPA standards there is no certain GPA, however you should strive to get the best grades you can, it can and will affect the way potential hiring station, and colleges look at you. Always strive for the best my man, and good luck.

@Emeriican Well, I'm a paid firefighter in Ohio, so yes you can get on a paid-position. The usual salary can start at $39,000 when you're probationary, and can go up to $60,000. However that pay depends on the population of the city or town that you work for, bigger town/city = more money. Also yes, a lot of firefighter go to college, for a course known as "fire science." Keep in mind that this isn't like any job, it's extremely rigorous, but very rewarding. Good luck :)

If I'm not mistaken, there are only certain vehicles that can be "flat" towed. I'm not so sure the GMC Envoy is one of those vehicles. Not sure of the year of that Envoy, so I could be wrong. As far as your "finally" comment. Just remember, no matter how much of an ass you are, the FD (majority of which are volunteers) will still show up. Continue to do what they can to save clean up messes idiots cause.

As I was watching your video, I just couldn't believe that people would continue to drive immediately next to a burning vehicle.. especially knowing that the fire was gettin' ready to get WAY out of control.. but guess what?? that's what fires usually do... yes this can happen to any car..what happens is that when the auto is in neutral and the key is off no transmission fluid can be desburst to the transmission...causing over a long period of time the transmission to over heat and finally catch fire...it started very small but grew into what you just seen...i knw he didnt get burned but it was a close call...

Brian...First of HOLD THE CAMERA STILL.Point the camera and keep the FIRE in the center of the frame,you could have sold the video as a stringer..Can the "Commentary" live audio is the best.The dull "Thud" you heard was the PLASTIC fuel tank finally letting go.You can see this by the color of the flame and the black sooty smoke.More than likely this fire was caused by towing a automatic trans vehicle in neutral,this OVERHEATS the transmission.Trans fluid burns WELL,HARD to put them out.
