  • So, is there any way to get this ?

  • anyone that knows about a GOOD multitouch midi controller that you can plug in in ALL DAW's?

  • Remember me the music from game "the dig" from lucas arts. Very old!!

    Cool video thnx!

  • why do people find it so easy to argue about nothing! its cool or was when posted end of story! :D

  • Its expensive as shit, and not good at all. Wait a couple years before you get a touch screen interface. Wait for the ipad to get a new tide coming in. Apple is going to produce some amazing touch screen turnkey interfaces, trust me. F*$k the dexter/lemur

  • I saw something like this before...and it was great...plus it was way before the ipad!!!

  • Did you use the wii-mote for this?

  • @ChimeraProd You fucking idiot.

  • hahahahahaha so funny man

  • Wouldnt be talking shit with a name like that. What are you filled with Jar, semen? Faggot

I understand what a Lemur is but some have replicated this interface with a regular screen and a wii-mote for less than 40$

Obviously you wouldnt know shit about that since you think im talking about gaming or whatever gay shit u think about

  • does anyone have info on this, I'm fairly interested.

I couldn't find any info on the thing.

  • Looks like a control interface found on an alien ship.. I like it.

  • Haha, that's what i was thinking. And we are talking about aliens, Man, we are fucking aliens ourselves!

  • This on the iPad.

  • incorrect. this was out way before the "ipad."

  • its a bootleg jazzmutant Lemur ....

id buy one of these for $150 not a penny more

  • that is one sexy gadget

  • Keyboardist for Dream Theater. He loves gadgets.

  • wasnt tiesto using this in his escape me music video?

  • Nah, that thing he was using wasn't a touch screen i don't think, just sensitive pads.

  • This needs to be put in the hands of Jordan Rudess. He'd surely put it to awesome use live, while making it look super cool.

  • Ok- someone help me out here. I see all of these uber-cool MIDI interfaces / controllers using Multitouch...well, I just picked-up an HP tx2-1270 Tablet PC / Laptop with Multitouch already on it, and I want to use it for fader controlls, etc - which would be the best way of going with this? I can get a USB-to-MIDI adapter for it, and I'll be controlling products from Reason,Live, Sonar & Cubase.

  • Agreed. You seem way out of known territory.

  • future dimension.

  • STAR TREK lol;=9.Nothing new just only touch screen.

  • nothing new. and it seems as though the user is a bit lost.

  • aye! thats ok! but confusing! music is more than 4! called an octave!

  • lets ditch the turntables and start a new world of djz

  • I'm sayin! Hell, the age of turntables and hardware gear has just been left in the

    20th century!

  • now, don't be excluseive. Turntables are an instrument...and so are Atari ST soundchips :)

  • True, true...if it makes sounds it's cool.

  • looks like a lemur.very expensive piece of kit.

  • where did you find that by chance? any DJ would find that to be a very unique piece to add to their collection.

  • looks like something from star trek!!

  • Very cool interface with many many possibilities. Is the assigning of functions to specific keys easy or is this a more 'show' element, thereby not really designed to support D.A.W.'s?

  • nothing special, just a weird keyboard - nice now you have to relearn everything you learned about the keyboard.

  • I'm wondering if this technology is expensive?

  • not so much...

  • where can i find more info about this great device?

    great stuff!

  • @cladclad is that sarcasim??

    what is this thing?

  • isnt that the lemur

  • no...

  • Coool.

  • hmmm is he actually playing it or just triggering programmed events?

  • ummm i want one!

  • I think viewers would think more positive of the thing if the guy in the vid did something other than hit random notes.

  • this is technology demo...

  • Could this be made to be velocity-sensitive? I don't know the limitations of multi-touch surfaces.

  • i don't think so...

  • Congratulations, you've passed kindergarten, fuck face. 'congradulation'?

    'u'?

    'instrement'?

    samne?

What the fuck is wrong with you? How did a woman managed to squeeze out such a retarded baby?

  • what is your problem??? anger problem?

  • You wish to have the intelligence to invent something like that you fool!

  • i prefer playing real piano :D

  • That's like saying you prefer bread over rollerskating.

  • I'd prefer rollerskating over bread to playing this thing. It looks nice, but it's kinda silly.

  • I'd prefer cutting you into little tiny kibbles and bits rather than giving you a clean, easy death.Go die now.

  • its not, that i dont like those midi devices stuff, but this thing is just too crazy

  • Sounds shit.

  • thats rly kewl! i love it! <3

  • umm thats cool but its midi soo its flexable

  • I personally like the reacTogon version of this touch sensitive music keyboard, you can make more intrecate patterns and music. This one is nice to though :D.

  • OH very cool. Ever since I saw Star Trek: The Next Generation.. I have dreamed of this technology. Imagine, no more fooling with clumsy buttons or switches.. but instead, Touch-sensitive keypads that respond with just a touch. Now, this is truly cool. To quote Josh Duhamel from Transformers, "This is Wicked!"

  • nice!

    reminds me of tron

  • it looks like a Piet Mondrian painting

  • beautiful!

    MIRAI

    (World Citizen & Futurist)

  • Sounds like an elevator I was in recently.

  • looks like the jazzmutant lemur

  • yes it is

  • Music sounds very Vangelis like. Good job.

  • Isn't that the controller Daft Punk used for the Kanye West samples at the Grammy's?

  • At the Grammy's Daft Punk used a controller made by Jazzmutant called the Lemur

  • Adam West was never this high tech. Plus it does have Multitouch GM written in bold letters above it. I want one.

  • Awesome controller. but something besides the controller, beautiful song you're doing there.

  • In Star Trek, each user can reconfigure their touch screen controls however they want. That should be the Next Generation of this product!

  • Star Trek, ya schmuck

  • Nice, how much does it cost?

  • where do I get it?

  • nice one...

p.s. check out our gadget mania.

  • Nobody seems to have a real positive thing to say...

I think it is one of the most awesome midi controllers I have seen. It looks like a midi controller that the 70's TV Batman would have in the batcave. All you need now is words poping up that say BOING....BONK.....Smack....Do...oinng

  • thnx, we are in 21st century, don't forget that :)

  • only in the dark? why it doesn't have powerfull enough lightning?

  • yes, i know it... this is much more cheaper... but works only in dark.

  • nice work.. it's similar to the lemur if you know it...

  • no, latency is work of usb webcam, which are really cheap, but with this problem. external firewire video converter could solve it (blackmagic decklink) ... our blob detection is without latency...

  • there's quite a bit of latency here, both in the finger tracking AND midi note triggering. Is that FTIR technology ?
