I see all of these uber-cool MIDI interfaces / controllers using Multitouch...well, I just picked-up an HP tx2-1270 Tablet PC / Laptop with Multitouch already on it, and I want to use it for fader controlls, etc - which would be the best way of going with this? I can get a USB-to-MIDI adapter for it, and I'll be controlling products from Reason,Live, Sonar & Cubase.

no, latency is work of usb webcam, which are really cheap, but with this problem. external firewire video converter could solve it (blackmagic decklink) ... our blob detection is without latency...

there's quite a bit of latency here, both in the finger tracking AND midi note triggering. Is that FTIR technology ?
