Uhmmm.....it's more obvious that the merc is the newest one but: The merc has an advantage if you look at it from the front, the backside i dont really like and the from the sideways it's almost like an C class. Interior is won by the merc because has more futuristic stuff :), but if you've had made a comparison between Merc W212 and the BMW F10 the winner would have been the BMW, just my opinions. I love your videos mate, keep up the good work. :)

Nice Vid, after owning 6 E60's, went for the W212 E220, E60 getting old looking now, having said that the w212 is not as sporty looking, but beats the 520d 177 hand down in terms of real world power thanks to the twin turbos pumping out 400nm. Will be keen to try out the f100 when it hits the showrooms, more power less torque in 520d than E220, would love a E350, but tax in ireland is criminal

I'd strongly advise against it, the E250 CDI is a loud engine (it's a 4-Cylinder). it uses more gas, and Mercedes Benz has troubles with the injectors.

Coming from a BMW with a straight 6, you only will be disappointed by the Merc.

The E350 CDI is a whole different ballgame, however.

Mercedes E280 CDI, E320CDI and E350CDI is the same engine V6 3.0 CDI

E280-190hp

E320-220hp

E350-235hp because it is BLUE EFFICIENCY.

Well, the Mercedes is a 3.2 to be exactly (with 231hp), and the 530d is a 3.0l with 235hp. That would match way more than the 535d (3.0L, 286hp!!!).

Btw, the 525d FACELIFT is also a 3.0L, but with only 197hp.
