  • Is that Heather Graham?

  • Yep.

  • so...how's annie?

    great scene!!

    david lynch rules!

  • In Fire Walk with me, there is a scene where Laura dreams of a girl in her bed. This is Annie and she has lot of blood around her neck. Annie says to Laura : "the good Dale is in the Lodge. Write it in your diary." So maybe in a virtual third season, they would find out the truth and would rescue Dale Cooper.

  • genuinely scary

David Lynch is a mad genius

  • Oh yeah, I would have to watch this just before going to bed. LOL

    Terrifying.

  • can someone explain this ending to me??

  • David Lynch decided to slam down a TON of pills one night, come back to the series, and just make up some crazy shit and piss you off with an anticlimatic ending. But, seriously....XD

My take on what's happening here is Cooper is trying rescue Annie from the Black Lodge, and Earle. In short, he succeeds, but the cost is great. BOB takes control of Cooper's body, leaving Cooper's spirit stranded in the Lodge with all his crazy friends forever and ever.

    Yeah.....(shrugs)

  • oh lol

Seems quite weird. Especially with a shit cliffhanger. :S

Did they film the whole scene backwards. The backwards talking etc.

    Scary shit though :|

  • Okay, so...

He's in the Black Lodge, encountering dopplegangers of various deceased characters, who taunt him with FALSE statements ("I saw the face of the man who killed me", "I didn't kill anyone").

Then BOB (the old guy) takes his soul. Some time later, he and Annie are found in the woods. He has no serious injuries, and is simply taken to rest.

However, he is now possesed by BOB (look at the mirror, in which BOB is seen, not Cooper)

  • Annie's fine. How are you?

  • Meanwhile...

  • so

    terrified

  • doppelganger

  • Wasn't it in the movie where Annie pops up in Laura's bed all bloody and says, "The Good Dale is in the Black Lodge"?

DAMN all television since Twin Peaks has been pale pablum force fed to the masses. I miss this show with a hunger and passion I thought I had lost.

Anywho I haven't seen this last episode since it aired. Damn how good was this show?

    Definitely my favorite television show.

  • Do you think LAURA PALMER would stand a chance if it wasn'tfor the GOOOD DALE?' Love was killed. Flew away like the dust that DANCES in the wind BUT STILL The GOOD DALE didn't make it. and althoug HE CANNOT leave He is for some reason. is in the LoDge and cannot leave the LEAVE can anyone can can anyone get "the slut" laura beyond?? STILL STILL??
  • Would have anyone known the black lodge existed without Bob's crimes? Its kind of tragic but Cooper and the world needed Bob in a weird way.

  • The "Blue Book"-project was on to the lodges. That's where Windom Earl heard of it for the first time. And well, concidering that Cooper got trapped in to the lodge for 25 years, I don't think it was a good thing they ever found out about it.

  • The crimes wouldnt have been solved without the Black Lodge.

  • you forgot to say stupid

    zaodizao

  • Makes me realise how safe, boring and conventional TV is these days.

  • you forgot to say stupid..

  • GREETINGS bob

  • Spirit possession is paranormal, supernatural, psychological and/or superstitious spirits, gods, demons/daemons (demonic possession), animas, ET's or other disincarnate or extraterrestrial entities taking control of a human body, resulting in noticeable changes in health and behavior.

  • no such thing as

'supernatural". if it happens, its not supernatural. it might be a rare event that conforms to rules not commonly understood yet, but that doesnt make it "super"natural. the word doesnt even make sense.

  • its not supernatural its naturalsuper

  • man, satanism is rampant on the west coast

  • So great and so scary.

    Very good actors.

    Lynch is a genius!!

  • scary scary scary o.o

  • This was the episode I missed when Bravo reran the series in the early 1990's. I was hooked from the get-go and just watched this full episode on the CBS website and have to say the way this episode played out is just totally bizarre but then with Twin Peaks, what wasn't??

    Thanks for sharing.

  • what is going on!

  • When Cooper's head smashes into the mirror, there is a brief bit of sampled audio of when Laura is screaming in the Lodge.

    Never noticed that before. Cool.

  • It does make sense, you just have to pay attention. And yes, even if it didn't it would still be good show, because it has good characters, good actors and a good script.

  • 2:16 - 2:28 "Who's Annie" and two meaningless repetitions of "It's me"

3:06 The passive way in which Dale and Windom glares at Annie

    4:03 BOB's laugh

4:35 Cut directly into Windom Earle's scream

    5:18 BOB's laugh - again

  • That still gives me the shivers. Lynch is the master and he`s still making magnificent films and long may he continue, because there`s no one like him.

  • All Ive ever wanted is to go to the black lodge. Im quite bored with everything else.

  • LOL great comment dude.

  • amen.

  • appaerantly there was supposed to be a third season where cooper is possesed by bob and commits crimes that cooper can't remember doing (like leland), and he would investigate them himself.

  • I also remember hearing that in the 3rd season Briggs comes to rescue Cooper from the Lodge. Just as Mrs. Palmer told him, "I am in the Black Lodge with Dale Cooper. I'm waiting for you".

  • I think we'd all want to know how Cooper's doppelganger would be like, considering the fact that Cooper is pretty much the paragon of goodness in this series, in my opinion. I'm sure evil Cooper would surpass Killer BOB in viciousness by far.

  • ㋡㋡㋡AAAAAhdk

  • The purest nightmare fuel ever aired on broadcast TV. I remember when this first aired, I slept horribly that night. Just... pure messed up ness.

  • I don't like the ending of Twin Peaks. I was so dejected after wathcing it... It is TOO bad.

  • Yeah, David Lynch didn't like it much either. :(

  • Did anyone else shit their pants while watching this?

  • the scream of laura palmer is in a song by marilyn manson

  • so guess that one guy took his soul now hes living in his body right?

  • life never be the same after watching this episode

  • Life is never the same, after watching ANY David Lynch!! ㋡

  • it is a metaphor for life-

on the face of it- people are nice and in this film very pretty- but inside they are far from nice- evil- the black lodge is our black souls- and Bob is the devil- def- feeding off our blackness- and loving twin peaks- a very dark place- cooper gives up his soul to save the so called good people- he is the only honest person in town- and that has parallels with a certain other great story

  • so who killed laura pallmer

  • My god this is just awesome! Truley a most haunting and terryfiying experience in the history of horror film making as it goes. A true masterpiece in my opinion, very influential and will remain in my life forever as a film piece. Wow, blows me away awesome just simply awesome.

  • The final scene still sends shivers down my spine I keep on thinking what would happend if they renewed the series. Would they end it the way they did or would they have him escape and live happily ever after

  • Best show ever made. I hope David Lynch does another TV series.

  • There's no place like home...

  • how does he get out

  • how's annie?

  • lynch should make a twin peaks tv movie in 2015.see you in 25 years like laura palmer said

  • 2:37 oh my god lol

  • i Love the way BOB owns Windum earle.

  • does anyone knows where i can see the part where they reveal the killer of laura???

  • I'll post it on youtube soon, you're not the only one who has asked me to. :)

  • to mě poser lochtana

  • BOB is still the man of my nightmares!

I both loved and hated this ending.....my hero Agent Cooper gone mad! But a classic David Lynch ending.

  • My theory is after this comes FWWM, and the ending to the european pilot.

Coop spends the next 25 years still in the Black Lodge.

If there's no conclusion movie or new series in five years, I'll be irate.

  • I guess the good cooper spends the next 25 years in the waiting room/black lodge, just as he forsees in his first dream,

Bob inhabits the Doppleganger and escapes through the portal into twin peaks with Annie.

The finale ends in an unbelievable nightmarish cliff hanger just as you would expect from Lynch.

In a way, Its Lynch's revenge on the Tv execs for axing the show prematurely.

  • 3:21

  • 5:16

  • 8:41

  • how's annie?

  • and you talk shit on youtube, the worlds a cruel joke huh.

  • Wow...It's amazing to me that this old show is WAY scarier than any "horror" movie thats come out in the last 10 years or so.

  • my all time favorite is when Laura is screaming in his face and suddenly its Windom Earle. That eerie ass look he gives him is amazing.

  • will they ever start the show again?

"the bubble gum you like is gonna come back in style."-the dwarf

  • David Lynch is a genius.

  • Thanks for uploading, I've been looking for this episode for ages :)
