@TisPete I'd say this video is from America, and was shot in August. I don't know ANYWHERE in the US or Canada where it would be comfortable enough to dance like this for this long in long pants. It is probably 95 degrees in that tent with a humidity of 90%.
Now ,thats the way to learn Irish dancing.Everyone is pulled in and shown the steps,one way or the other, you soon learn,and if you don't first time, naturally you go back for more.Lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves.
I did this dance for the first time at my cousin's wedding in New York this weekend. So fun, a little confusing when you're smashed though but you learn fast. good times

It is a dance not the gym.
If you are too fekkin lazy to put on a pair of trousers, do not bother to turn up in the first place.

Men in the United States used to wear long trousers in Summer.
Adults dressing like children is a relatively recent phenomenon.
