I've never seen that ad on Chinese screen. It does not look like other Mac Donalds ad displayed in the Mainland. Major of them target family and friendship and used eye-catching colours as many fast-food brand to be recognized. Even if I was displayed in China, I do not think it had a positive impact on the brand image. Notoriety would possibly increase as it is the type of ad tha make people talk.
