Bro, could you please write me real short?? All i want is to change the tempo and pitch that shit up too, and then send it to the FPC... I can't figure that out. Help me out, and I bow to you man.
@hothandzent not EVEN man!! all i want is to bring my chops up to whatever bpm i want, and then pitch that shit up and then send my chops to my mpd.. this is straight bullshit I know u can do that on FL but I'm real dumb figuring this one out!!
is pitch shift and placing the note on a different key the same thing.. i mean it seems the same to me... what i was getting at was how i can take a voice and bring the pitch down without making it sound to deep or to chipmunkey.. i hope u understand and thanks for responding to my last Q..
@HOOJUANIT not really... pitch, more or less is the timing of the sample (speeding up/slowning down)... but there r ways the change keys of samples and leave them at the same tempo.. i.e. "transpose"
cut the sample 1st.. then.. detect the tempo. now get a "empty slicer channel and drag your sample into it. lets say the sample was mapped at 83.687 your slicer will bump it up to 84bpm's if it was 83.279 it will take it down to 83bpm's. do not try to change the tempo while recording "hence the word (recording)" LET ME KNOW IF THIS HELPS YOU OUT?!
Hey bruh, I wanted to know if you could make a video creating a sampled beat with the FPC...because my loops never sound smooth using it...I'd appreciate it.
biggest problem i'm having is whether I leave the # of bars in the step sequencer blank or make it like 10 bars it still will only loop record up to 2 bars and then keeps overwriting my loop..how can i make it so I can sorta loop on the fly like it's done on mpc
you really dont need to set the number of bars, you just loop the sample at however many bars you took from the sample.. make sure to detect the sample's tempo as well!
Ill try to do so.. just keep a bug in my ear! i really do be busy trying to answer all of the questions and requests i get. so if i forget, just remind me
is there a way within the FPC where you can pitchshift without the time changing? how i do pitchshift is within FL-Slicer,then drag the shifted sample to a new pad or pads.now mind you theres gonna be 2 slicer windows open, one being the main tune and the other bieng the shifted tune....no disrespect to you homie, just something i figured out......
lol you better cut it out 'for i tell your mom lol you were there for "the talk!" lol ;) but yet and still i have to be a professional... (oh yeah andspeaking of pros.. Pro said hey!!) thanks for watching!! and no, thats not a blow off!
Your like the only dude on YT that would even go into depth like this, I'm sure these young gunz are salivating over this..Good work dunny, keep up the work....my lil brother loves ripping Al Green joints..
If you want to change your tempo, how do you get the chopped up samples in the fpc to change with it?

Yo ... your tutorials are great man..
But please help me out on this one...
I first detect the tempo...
than i cut the samplle up drag the chops in the fpc... THAN i pres record and play a 1 or 2 bar beat..
when finished ..and i press play...
than the beat wont loop right...
i see the tempo changing automaticly..
example jumping from 68 to 55
how can i make it loop right... (steady tempo
