What's the right thing to do now? I shorted the dollar in an etf that is leveraged 2.5 times.
I bought some fund that invests in capital in emerging markets in their currencies.
Is this the wrong approach or should we all buy gold bars and keep them under our beds? In Argentina the banks failed after debt issues caused a capital flight to foreign markets.
Mr. Beck just said that the "FED" which is the private Federal Reserve BANK lowers interest rates to help out. Who are they helping? Other big banker friends that's who! They could give a crap about you or me. The only thing the "FED" wants to do is keep you and I in debt!
There's no way the GOP will allow Ron Paul to win the nomination and run against Hillary. That would give Ron Paul way too much media exposure and it would only open the eyes of even more americans. For them, it's gotten too far already.
Further, I will concede that "ownership" could be viewed several ways, but that is largely a semantic issue. And while my Economics Ph.D. may not convince you I've done my research, there is a good reference if you go to Google and search "FRB: FAQs: Federal Reserve System". (My apologies for not just referencing the page directly. YouTube wouldn't post my comment with the direct link.)
So. If we spend more the economy gets better? Prices going up should fix the problem by your logic. Moron. The economy is controlled by the private bankers i.e. The Fed. Pick up a book glenn. Better yet, just stop spewing propaganda. Shill.
I believe he said that if we have more, we spend more. We do not have more, yet we are required to spend more. The middle class goes down like the Titanic and it's all on purpose so that we will accept the Amero (then later, the credit chip) with the NWO as our saviors.
1- The Fed is not private, it's run by the government. Bernanke was appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate.
2- "Spend more" refers to real spending, not nominal spending. Prices going up does not equal more spending in terms of the proportions of our wealth that is allocated to consumption.
As the MORON would say: "Here's what you need to know". The Fed is certanly not "run" by the Government. There's no more M-3 reports, no inventory of gold, (as if), no accountability to anyone and it is OWNED BY PRIVATE BANKERS. Here's how I got there. I DID SOME RESEARCH! I suggest you do the same.
The Fed was designed to be free from political influence, but it was also designed to have government oversight to limit private interests. It was established--and I suppose could be dismantled--by the government. While I wish it was 100% free of outside influences, that not realistic. But if you are suggesting that private interests control The Feds decisions, I respectfully disagree. The Fed angers the private sector as well. I do have more research if you are truly intellectually interested.
Oh yes! I'm truely intellectually interested. Please tell me what "oversight" the current government has over the fed. I wont go into all the times congress has asked the fed for accountability and was denied. I want to hear about what oversight we have now.
My apologies. I didn't post quick enough before you could reply (I was trying to get YouTube to post a link, but it wouldn't work.) I have now posted how you can find a reference using Google.

I'm sorry but your wrong The Fed is private owned, the government CONTRACTS out all the time for everything from planes to currency. Congress has authority to print it's own money but it doesn't it hires the Fed to do it and pays the loan back with OUR money plus interest that comes out of THIN AiR!!
Glenn Beck is deliberately misinforming the public.
He is not as dumb as he seems - he is dumbing things down because that is what sells. Once the economy crashes he will be begging for martial law and a police state in order to "save" the economy.
Oh, I think you are so right! - He can't negotiate with Socialist. That rules out Mitt. Rudy will take his gun. McCain will give every one amnesty that's Illegal, -Thompson YIKES! Ron Paul is the ONLY GOP candidate that can unite America and BEAT Hilary! RP 08
I don't trust Glenn Beck. I've been keeping tabs on the state of the dollar for over the past few years and have never heard say any of this before.
IMO, he's just a propagandist who jumped on the coat tail of what Ron Paul has been arguing about for the last 25 years.
Don't be surprised if Glenn Beck starts making baseless claims about how Fred Thompson and himself stayed up late at night trying to figure out how they could warn the American people or some shit.
Can't wait til ron pAUL gets on his show since he sits with them and talk for a good portion on their issues..hopefully he's fair and respectful like he was to Hukabee and the rest of those guys..Yet i still want tough and interesting questions
Ron Paul is the only candidate addressing these issues and then he's mocked. Even by Glenn Beck! As I see it Ron Paul is the only hope we have. And even then, we're in for rough times.
Exacerbatedtaboo, Ron Paul has been addressing the issue for decades. Search: Ron Paul Federal Reserve His main issue is economics. Shows how much you know.
One of Dr. Paul's strongest stances is his opposition of the Federal Reserve and the hidden tax on the poor that they call inflation. He has been addressing the collapse of the dollar for 25 years. Wake up America! Just do the research on the issues. Listen to Dr. Paul and think about it. You owe it to your country. Liberal, Conservative, Right, Left, everyone needs to pay attention.
I didn't really think that it was implied. Ron Paul has been addressing this for many years. The only people being sheep are the people that just believe that if we continue the way we do we will be alright.
Ron Paul ending the war in the middle east would drop the price of oil. You Tube Reuters video "Oil resumes torrid ascent" v=_1LB-ZQlU74 ascribes $20-$30 per barrel due to the war.
His monetary policy would strengthen the dollar and his trade policy would help also. By the time the election rolls around it may be to late if it's not already.
This all goes back to 9/11......hmmmmmm......And the Gold Prices there after and all the fallouts......hmmmmmm......
