It's actually "Freedom is a road seldom traveled by the multitude." They're supposedly the words of Frederick Douglass, but when I hear them, the 80's Public Enemy song "Show 'Em Watcha Got." comes to mind. Often there are phrases that, if you've heard them so many times, you can recognize the melody of them spoken even if you can't truly make out the words each time someone new speaks them.
I promise, I'll be waiting for you ;)
