Joel Osteen is the most richteous man on earth that i know of. people aregoing to hate him because the devil makes it to were people hate people like him who are pure as he did with christ. It is interesting how much of the comments are in total agreement with how "dead on" this short video really is. Looks like it is pretty much a well-known thing that Joel Osteen is more than a little weak on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus did not preach health, wealth, and happiness. Jesus said if we love Him, the world will hate us. In another place, we are told that all who will live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. I want everyone to like me, but I still say Jesus is THE Way.

@questionmarkjones I think of Joel Osteen as more of a motivational speaker, alot like Tony Robbins, only not very good. He only throws in a tacit nod to 'god' every now and then just to keep silly Christians hooked & sending him money. I lol'd at your comment though. Very funny.

I am just going to have to take God's Word for it on the subject of Hell, (whether I like it or not.) It is my ministry to witness to everyone I can, so that they may be able to except the Christ, Jesus & the salvation He purchased for them with His precious blood. This is the Gospel Joel should be preaching. I pray that you will repent of your unbelief and accept Jesus as your Savior.

Osteen, and Obama have a lot in common. Neither have a firm foundation in Christ Jesus, or adhere to biblical principals. Sadly they fail to realize that Jesus is the Only way to Heaven, that one MUST be BORN Again! Osteens feel good theology is straight from Joel, not the Bible...and we have been warned...even if an angel from heaven preach any other Gospel than the true Gospel of Jesus Christ...they are accursed, according to scripture. @k0smon I apologize,I did not know you were not a christian,the apostle Paul uses the term prophesy often,which has meaning for preachers,in corinthians, while correcting the problems in the church at Corinth.The scriptures are prophetic in nature so when we preach the gospel it should not be perverted or twisted in any way.

@scooter8887 I am a former Christian who became convinced that Christianity was invented by Constantine. (Even Bart Ehrman does not agree with that.) I had sufficient evidence to convince me, so I stopped being a Christian. I am moderately familiar with the bible, but do not believe it is the 'word of God'. I like Joel's approach, so I defend him from the 'bible buffs'. He is amazingly successful with his ministry, and his congregation loves him, so he is doing something right.
