    <3 u guys

    amber

  • could we copy little of ur guys moves .. ? .. u guys are soo gud ..

  • i love dis song!also samoans do shake!samoans shake good DA! they are good dancers too!so all u out there that dont think samoans are not good dancers u are so so wrong about wat u think about samoans not being good dancers!dIS song is tHe beSt

  • @bjandbear1 - Of course Samoans (some) shake. But it's not what Samoans are known for. Shaking our pooties is not a part of our culture and if people think that's what qualifies a person as being able to dance than the ignorance never ceases to amaze me. As a Samoan I take pride in our own Siva Samoa and Taualuga.

  • wow! very nice hip action, very seducing moves ladys....love it!

  • This is a song and dance by Te Vaka from the South Pacific Islands of Tokelau and Tuvalu.

You could call this Tokelauan dance or "Polynesian Dance"

  • But is there nay name for the dance? Is it hula dance?

  • Ive danced to this song bofore

  • It's Tahitian dancing....That's what Te Vaka meant for the song to be like....

  • Well only Raro's and Tahitians shake their hips when dancing so I'd say its one of the two or both.

  • @mjay2411 i agree with you.:D

  • can anyone tell me what style of dance this is? please, it is important

  • wow wada life saver nd moves 4da 1st song 4 ma daughter and her cousin 2perform 4ma bro's wedding cheers.

  • Awesome dancing ladies! Hope you dont mind but I "borrowed" a few of your moves for me and my cousins dance we did for our aunty here in Brisbane. We didnt use the whole routine because you guys were too good, and we couldnt get it right...hehe... Malo lava auhiva!!!

  • i did that dance at the international festival in north carolina but it was different moves

  • r u guys samoans????

  • Samoans don't shake; they stomp, sway, and usually do motions with their hands.

  • samoans do shake o know! bcause i am a samoan!

  • @bjandbear1 then learn your culture. My Polynesian instructors were all Samoan and even they told us the difference.

  • LOVE IT!! 5 Stars

  • Link tv put me on to this song (Pate Pate) and other hits from the oceania world. i envy your way of life. it is so rich. i wish i could have inherited such a culture. oh and i seen other independent videos like this but this is my favorite. these girls did they thing. Very Sexy!!!

  • Awesome! do you know the Song title for the second dance ? love the melody

  • it's called 'Fakateretere' by john gabilou

  • you!s are so amazing

  • Tahitian dancing is wayyy diff to Cook island dancing...tahitians tend to seperate legs alot ov times nd move in circles nd bend down really fast wea as cook island dancing is well lets juss say....better....oh nd dese also a diff. wid d way u move ur hands

  • love the choreography.....well done

  • tahitian dancing is the same as cook island dancing right/? by the looks of it

  • No they look similar but cook island is more of a side to side hip action where as tahitian is more circular hip action although they tend to blend they aren't the same.

  • oh okay...but they still look the same

  • wow, i dance tahitian and i did not kno that...utube is teaching me planny. so which is this?

  • gud wun

  • WOW i want to shake my hips like that!!!

  • This is beautiful. Hope Auntie Mary had a nice birthday!!

  • nice...who did the choreographs?love it!

  • OMG.i used to dance to this song as a child.

  • nice routine...cute outfits...nice job!
