@FareezLovesMe Thank you! I was unaware of that fact. I was not stating trichnosis was the definitive reason for avoiding pork, just a possible explanation. That is why I used the phrase "most likely." I know the reason that followers of Judaism do not eat pork is because pigs are scavengers, eating anything they find, including their own waste products. So pigs, as well as lobsters who are also scavengers are considered "unclean" and unfit for human consumption.

And the Quran does not say that it is forbidden to eat pork because "it is so fatty and unhealthy " . So that are three points which you've gotten wrong about Islam, and these are only about pork. Don't you wonder what else you got it wrong about Islam ?

and stealing whose fucking oil? there was not one oil field in our area of operations which was southern helmand a pretty decent size province and in retrospect we do not pull people from thier homes in the middle of the night and strap a bomb to them tell them to hit a target or thier family will die and then kill thier family regardless of what occurs or attack schools we openor burn down the clinics we open and i have had kids at a young age shoot at me and my squad with im sure his dad...fyi
