I'm gonna get hated on for this but seriously, commenting in an Arcsys vid, there just too many fighting games like this. Aesthetically, I mean. There's just too much shit going on. This don't look like no fight I ever seen. The game could be solid as hell but the style is very off putting to me. Just massive explosions and lasers and robots and random unexplainable shit. Gets tired after a while.

@Galkatokk, I'm importing this soon. It's made by Arcsys and published by Capcom. I see it as a mixture of Guilty Gear and the assist system of Marvel vs Capcom 2. Similar style of explosions and action on screen.

i love this game 2 if only they could bring it out in english, (and i heard that evan if u were 2 go 2 japan and buy it, it STILL would`nt work becuase its not compatable with the english version of the PS2)

And this is the last year 4 the PS2`s after this (2008) there never going 2 create any "brand new" games-so the next 1 will HAVE 2 be either on the PS3 or PSP (if they only want it on playstation software) :D

No, this game is utter SHIT. You can perhaps play it with your friends for a week or two before getting bored. The mechanics are dull, the combos are crap and the game is unbalanced like hell. Basically unplayable if you want to be good and not just press buttons and see flashy colors.

it's not a copy of GG. Arc System Works collaborated with Capcom to redo Sengoku Basara into a 2D fighter. Personally as a GG Fan and Player, I wouldn't mind giving this a try...although it kinda helps that I'm a sucker for Samurai fighters =D. No need to call games utter shit without proper reasoning.

That second combo from the first guy, is instant kill, look how much health the opponent has when he does it.

Hopefully it isn't ridiculously easy to pull off or set up.

Looks like Ultimate Basara moves are rather easy to pull off after a combo, just like in Hokuto No Ken, except that you have to activate the One-Hit Basara mode (similar to Guilty Gear's Destroyed) and you can only perform it once per round (if you miss, you're fucked).

But still, b&b combo knockdown, activate InstantKill mode, then just spend the round looking for a mistake - hit confirm IK. game over.
