Alright, NOW that I've seen Homecoming's UFO ending I've gotta say that it's not one of my favorites. Nice they put one in, but it feels too "last minute," like they through it end at the end of the dev cycle because they thought it'd be a fan pleaser. I liked Origins' UFO ending more because it was pretty funny, and plus the dog from SH2 made a cameo.

Now I just need to see Shattered Memories' UFO ending. I'm not gonna spoil it early since I'm still on my first playthrough (good game so far).

I think I know why you like 2 as ur fav, or most of us, for a matter of fact. Bad or morbidly dark graphics need lots of concentration to master. Plus the controls are a bit hard, not to mention the health system. "Being afraid of the Unknown."

but even if it wasnt a silent hill game, anyways it would have many similarities with silent hill, the theme about finding ur daughter in a ghost town which turns into an ice darkness town sound much like silent hill, and also that you started crashing ur car and ur daughter is missing since then, it really is like a silent hill game, and if silent hill 4 had te chance to be a silent hill game, why the wii version would'nt had the same chance?

It just don't feel like Silent Hill to me. I felt like it lacked the theme of isolation and progressive fear that was so prominent in the other games. I didn't like the ice, I thought it was weird; and there just wasn't enough blood. Ha.

Those are just some of the things that really stand out and make Silent Hill for me. I guess you could equally argue either way.

believe me, while i was playing it i really felt isolation, and specially progressive fear, specially because the closer the monster is to you, the more the music and sound gets distortioned.

in the other games it wasnt to much of fear, the fact that u had many weapons to protect you didnt actually gave too much fear to the enviroment, the scape thing in SM was way more adrenalinic.

the bad thing about SM is that u couldnt get harm in the real world, only in the icy world.
