video game music was well composed back in the day. music directors weren't scared of trying new stuff. unlike the forgettable epic-sounding high quality music of today's games.
This song. I remember this song. I loved the pure ambiance of the intro of this song with the opening of the stage. Capcom really chose the right guy to do the music and the right crew to fit it along with each stage. I miss the absolute art of videogames in the 90's. The Megaman games will always be the most special in my heart.
@tconman31 robot masters not reploids. reploids means replicated androids, becasue they are all androids that were originally based off of megaman x. However, the x series just ends up calling any robot that can think for itself a reploid cause its easy. Technically megaman x is based off of his own plans so he is sort of a reploid(?) but zero isn't since he was created independantly from x by the great mind of Dr. wily.
@nicholascooney True, and they are robots, but the bosses you fight in the game are 'robot masters' robots with advanced AI made to perform different more complex tasks. But at this point in the series most of them are built by Wily to destroy Mega Man instead of some of the RM's of old like Cut Man who had less violent purposes when they were made.

(By that, I mean half the orignal games. ) MM4, dr. cain made the robots, and I imagine after 4, they were used for good. 6, wily took over some robots from a fighting tournement, 1&9 were light's creations, and all the ones from 10 were just regualr robots with a disease.
Dr. Doppler was the first SCIENTIST of Reploids, not creator. I see where you got confused there. This stuff is all in the Mega Man Knowledge Base (The Wiki).
