Thank you so much. I looked at this on wiki out of curiosity and I thought even 'hello world' was impossible. This made a lot more sense. I'm a total noob at this but, I do love to animate and make sprites so. . . This is a start. I don't feel completely hopeless now. xD

@living3111 there is no "school system" or "college" if you want something bad enough you will learn it. there wont always be someone there to teach you everything, if you want to learn, you wont wait you will start now, its only hard if you make it hard. (im 15) no college tought me ;)

i cant save what i do :S every time i try it says some crap like # -*- coding: cp1252 -*- and i get the option to use that coding and save and when i do that it still wont save Help? for now i just copy paste what i have done into text and save it there

@drulli6 it depends if you are using a new window or the shell. It will only let you save in a new window.

for some reason when i type in the variable...like a=5 then i will type, print ("a") and it show up as a instead of 5...help?

you did print the letter a not the variable a...

print a

because when u put it in quotations it's no longer a variable but a string, and therefore it will print "a" because you are saying to print the letter "a" instead of the variable you called "a"

ya python is a very easy lang i think it is one of the most easy langs out there besides vb6 and delphi. c++ is very hard to learn ima try to learn that soon :D u can do more with c++ then python but python still good for begineers
