I kind of like John Donne. Here go :

Let sea-discoverers to new worlds have gone,

Let maps to others, worlds on worlds have shown,

Let us possess one world, each hath one, and is one.

I write like that too, sometimes.

Reciting? Written? Sung? Felt ?

Poetry has diverse means of delivery.

It's like this other way to communicate. Plain daily conversation is so mundane. But there is a way of speaking, some may call it poetry, and others call it wisdom. But the words speak truths on a whole different level that to the untrained, sound as pretty words, when much deeper meaning has been exchanged.
