  • Magnificent animal!

  • OMG I want One

  • 0:23 the black dog is stoned, man!

  • How do tell the difference between a wolf and a dog? They're so similar!!!

  • @TheEmpowered787 Wolves teeth are larger, and their brains are bigger. Wolf behaviour is also different. The differences between them are very small though, as all modern dogs are descendants of Wolves.

  • That does look more like a wolf... So... Yeah

  • its a usky lol

  • @veigadevil MORON

  • Beautiful wolf!!!!

  • i have a babie gray wolf found him in a box near the waer in alaska so me and my freinds were acting dumb and opened it now we have him lol what a find ....

  • the wolf is beatiful and i always wanted to get a coyote yes they are considered pets on the mid west =D

  • That wolf is beautiful!!!!!

  • I would love to see it munching on Paris Hilton's dog :D

  • so you got a tundra wolf, but whats the other one called?

  • @KineticNK German sheperd

  • lol awwwww

  • a hand signal is a visual cue

  • looks like at least part wolf to me.

  • hes like YOUR FORGETTING ABOUT ME :(

  • My wolf never turned on me. I treated it with respect and I showed him who is the boss. You treat it like shit and keep it away from seen other people or leave it alone chained up in the yard with no food, water and the rest for long hours daily, not taking it out for walks and other activities, yes its likely that the wolf will turn against you, just like any dog, even if its not a dog! Common sense.

  • @skankuser Except wolves are more prone to challenge their owner's superiority, and that they respond more to hand signals than visual cues.

  • soooo cuuuuuuutteeeeeeeee

  • At least these will protect you from goth kids

  • @shadowgun22 -Is a goth kid that loves wolves- >>

  • That's a very adorable video, But you do not want to have a pet wolf. No matter how tame they seem they can always turn on you, and their teeth can bite harder than having a car sit on your hand. Theyre very cute and pretty but god meant for them to be in the wild, now a dog that looks so much like a wolf would be fun to have because ppl would always ask u about it and everything:D

  • @Aud1OutProductions Dogs can do the same. When raised in captivity, they're as good as any dog.

  • Comment removed

  • that is a very pretty wolf there.

  • so cool

  • isnt it dangerous having a wold for pet?

  • Although its eyes and coloration are Siberian, its lanky legs, huge paws, narrow chest and long muzzle are WOLF. This animal is a high content wolf hybrid. I own two Sibes and they don't have legs, paws and that long of a muzzle.

  • thats a tundra wolf you dipshits! look how big it is compared to the shepard and the long lanky legs! fuckin slap you idiots

  • i love wolves i want one for a pet lol

  • @wolfLRKbella, Correct :)

  • @wolfLRKbella, I have seen siblings to this animal, and while most are being represented as very high content-pure wolves (they are NOT)- they are real wolfdogs with a significant amount of recent wolf heritage. Their dad is the real deal...their mom is the one that is bringing in the dog traits, even though it is being denied. Their eyes are NOT blue- most of the siblings have VERY light yellow eyes. I would consider most of these siblings to be upper mid- lower high contents.

  • its not a husky. it might be a wolf-husky mix tho

  • Wolf or not, its a beautiful animal

  • lol that wolf likes taking all the screentime

  • O_O May i ask wher eyou got yours and for how much?!...I WANT ONE!!!!!!

  • I wish I had a wolf for a pet SOON I WILL AND MY MOM WOULDN'T DARE TO COME OVER HAHAHAHA

  • IT'S A HUSKY!! I GOT A WHITE KIND JUST LIKE YOURS...

  • Looks like a wolf to me. Eye color does not matter.

  • @furtherbeyond yes it does, husky blue eyes such as this guys means that both parents have to be husky descends and carry the blue gene which is a receive trait. Usually the only wolfdogs who have blue eyes are low content.

  • @ferret926, Read my reply to wolfLRKbella. While this animal is not what I would consider a very high content-pure like is being claimed by most of the owners of these siblings- their eyes are VERY pale yellow and I would pheno most of them as upper mid-lower high contents.

  • @wolfdogfostermom I was not talking about this wolfdog, I was talking about wolfdogs in general. Furtherbeyond had said eye color does not matter, I was giving an example of how it does.

  • @wolfdogfostermom I wouldnt say upper mid lower high though, with those unfurred big ears and that nose? He has definately recieved more dog traits then his siblings, I would pheno as mid-lower mid, looks very white german shepherd-y

  • @ferret926, All the white siblings have pinke noses. Go check out Sampson and Spirit at Big Oak Wolf Sanctuary (website). They are both siblings from the same litter- I am not saying it is impossible, but it would be extremely unusual for this animal to pheno as a lower mid...that is a quite the spectrum coming from two animals, that while not pures...are in no way, shape or form, lower-mid content animals. I can PM you for more details if you would like? :)

  • @wolfdogfostermom yes I would, I would never pin a high content, even if in the lower regions with gsd ears and pinkie noses, but pm me and we'll talk about it ;)

  • Awwweh its a wolfeh

  • @jeffreyhaywood vulgar display of words..my friend :)

  • Wolf: "So what's the score? Get out the dam way already"

  • @HoS777 Wolves can have bi-eyes, it is just considered a genetic deffect. Now, I'm not saying that one could be blue and the other green, but in this video it seems that one eye is yellow brown while the other is darker. You have to take in the fact that they are outside, the sun might be reflecting out of the yellow eye because of the angle of his head. I have been working with wolves for quite some time, and it frustrates me that you say you have been also, but clearly dont accept facts

  • lol its biting the other dogs tail

  • What Bread of dog is the white one ? Some1 please tell me. Its beautiful.

  • @Nomsaurus a wolf hahah

  • Most people couldn't even handle owning a Siberian Husky, let alone a wolf. I'm lucky enough to own two great Siberians that have low to moderate energy and don't try to climb over the 6 ft enclosure I keep them in. As challenging as they are as a breed, they're not wild animals raised in captivity. They're dogs that look like wolves and even act a little bit like them in some ways.

  • bi eyes can be given to anything actually its a state on one eyes color eithr not fully coming to be or it just doesnt happen at all.

anyways at the start was that a german shepard?

  • What a beautiful animal...wish i had a pet wolf

  • @ENZOtaki if you had a pet wolf, you wouldn't desire for it to act like a wolf- yes? because that's dangerous. So you'd just want it because it looks cool. just get a fucking husky or something.

  • Wolves can't lift their tails in the air. They only hang between the hind legs. This is a dog.

  • @Faygo069, That is not true. How do you think they display dominance with body language. They do not CURL their tails. but they very much can lift their tails up.

  • Not even saying, but I know the breeder of this animal- he does NOT have pures. High contents yes...pures, absolutely not.

  • Wolf or not, he's still cute and wonderful.

  • @Alf90100 As I said, if you watch the entire other youtube video of this hybrid you will see exactly what I am talking about. Pink nose, tail and bi-eyes nothwithstanding, the rest of this animal is WOLF. There is NO WAY this animal got its narrow chest, long lanky legs, huge paws and long muzzle and one YELLOW eye from a Siberian Husky. Whenever you see that many WOLF traits in a hybrid it usually means high content

  • This is definitely not a full blooded wolf. The tail appears to be too high and it's got bi eyes. I'd bet money that this animal is not a full blooded wolf, not even a mid to high content hybrid.

  • i want a freaking wolf thumbs up if u want a wolf

  • Bi eyes is a trademark of huskys....

  • Everyone below me cant accept the fact that it is a wolf because they are too ignorant!!!!

  • Although this is definately NOT a pure Arctic Tundra Wolf, based on my experience interacting face to face with a number of 100% pure Wolves and high content Wolf Dog hybrids, this animal does have very high Wolf content. (there is another posted youtube video of this animal which really shows its wolf content). This is a mostly Wolf / Husky hybrid. The bi-eyes are husky but it's lanky frame, long legs, narrow chest, large front paws and long muzzle are definately Wolf and not Husky.

  • @GTX1123 But you're missing the color of it's nose, wolves don't have pink noses. The tail also doesn't sit right for it to be a wolf. I'll agree, it may be a hybrid, but if it is, it's a very LOW content.

  • @Alf90100, This is a higher content animal (not a pure, or quite as high as what is being claimed) but a few other siblings ended up with the liver color nose. One actually lives at a sanctuary (and is also being claimed as a pure, even though they know and several people who know the lineage of these animals have talked to them) and she also ended up with the liver nose. It's not a wolf trait, that's for sure- those dog genes, as minute as they may be, are popping up in his lines. -__-

  • it's Amaterasu!!!

  • ^ I love watching experts have arguments

  • That's a wolf dog, not a wolf.

  • HoS777 is correct. A blue eye, big pink ears and a pink nose, these are all dog traits. Wolves do not have any of those things. A wolf can't have blue, parti-colored, or bi-eyes. The correct eye coloration is yellow, green and shades of amber. The ears should be heavily furred and dark on the inside. Noses should be black.

I'm afraid like MANY other people who think they have a wolfdog/wolf, you've been deceived. What you have is a Malamute mix.

  • Those are dog posers!!!!!!!

  • Dog got rejected

  • I saw a wolf/ pet today and I tell ya, they are huge compared to siberian huskys they dont like to look a human stright in the eye either. absoultly gorgous Animal. I would never own one but, I was so trilled to actually be so close to an animal concidered to be wild and dangous I feel very lucky. The breeder said if the tail is curly its husky if the eyes are blue it has huskey in it if the eyes are yellow, brown or one is yellow and one is brown then it is a wolf Like I said absoultly gorgous

  • alaskan husky. Not wolf.

  • wolves can have bi eyes

  • Dumb ass thats no a wolf, thats a siberian husky

  • he should leave the poor shepard alone :(

  • Do you dance with it

    Haha

  • what is wrong with that German Sheperds eyeball? it's all gross and hangy looking.

  • What a beautiful animal! I wish I had a pet wolf. Thank you for sharing this video.

  • I hate it when my dog scratches the door constantly and never stops and he a full wolf

  • will he kill a skeleton?

  • @plasticsandvich92 Was that a minecraft joke?

  • @narnianhero hell yeah!

  • @plasticsandvich92 You win a thumbs up. I wonder how many people will get that joke.

  • @narnianhero ^^

  • beautiful dog, but that's no wolf

  • I Love That Little Thing! He`s So Cute!

  • Um.. no... this is not a wolf. Wolves do not have bi-eyes. That's a very low-content wolfdog if it's a wolfdog at all. You were tricked!

  • @HoS777 LOL..not true

  • @TheMikenealis It is true... sorry! Of course you don't want it to be true, you were probably tricked into paying hundreds of dollars for him!

  • @HoS777 My last post to you sir. The international wolf center currently has 2 wolves with eyes similar to Gabriels one was a pup born last year, although not a common occurrence it does happen. I have been working with wolves for 20yrs sir where does your experience come from?

  • @TheMikenealis I have around the same amount of experience with wolves on the other side of the country. The IWC does not have any bi-eyed wolves; I go there yearly. Sorry - the only wolf with eyes even close to Gabriel's is Lucas (RIP) and he was not bi-eyed (one eye was slightly greener than the other, which is common in everything from wolves to humans). Gabriel obviously has husky in his very recent heritage. Bi-eyes are a result of years of domestication.

  • @HoS777 There was another pup born last yr with bi color eyes. That being said the color difference in Gabes eyes in person is very slight the camera seems to really make it seem alot more than it actually is also the slightly darker eye is covered by a milky white film that you can not pick up on screen. That eye was not always slightly different, but i did not want to get into that on here.

  • @TheMikenealis Your an idiot that's not a wolf.

  • Comment removed

  • @HoS777 Also may it be noted that huskies with multi colored eyes have one brown eye and one blue eye

  • @TheMikenealis my butt hurts.

  • @mrfivegold mine too

  • @HoS777

    You're an idiot.

  • @HoS777 No one mentioned the liver colored nose this animal has also. That is another DOG trait not wolf trait. Wolves do not have blue eyes. And even if a wolf center did have animals that had bi eyes, there is plenty of wolf sanctuaries out there that have wolfdogs in they're place besides pure wolves. Please do not misrepresent animals calling them something they are not, this is dangerous.

  • @HoS777 lol, my grandfather had 2 different eye colors, was he half husky? xD

  • Comment removed

  • @TheMikenealis Its very true, wolves do not have blue eyes, there is several wolf centers out there that have wolfdogs at they're places besides having wolves. This animal has a lot of husky in it.

  • @HoS777 LOL! yeah i agree with this guy it looks more like a husky mixed with something. take him to the vet and do a blood test.

  • @HoS777 why would u even bother to try and ruin it for him anyway?

  • @TheMikenealis HoS777 is right

  • @HoS777 I hope your joking haha... If your not then I think you should go read up about wolves and genetic defects.

  • @HoS777 you sound like a hater to me lol

  • @HoS777 dumbass it is a wolf you can tell by the pointed ears

  • Oh my gosh he's absolutley gorgeous!!!

  • is it crossed with german shepherd

  • Ah, I know here he came from reading your older posts :) He is still no pure- I know those lines! But indeed a HC wolfy boy :) A lot his whites out of those two end up with a pinkish nose- very uncommon in HC's (and I do believe it is a doggy throwback trait), not really a trait to be breeding, but indeed- a very nice boy you have there!

  • @wolfdogfostermom You seem very knowledgeable and you have your heart in the very right place all the information you stated is correct. That being said Gabriel is pure wolf, his nose is not pink from snow nose what he has is lesions from digging with his nose in that video. If you take time to look at the new video you will see his nose is solid black. His ears also appear big for his head in the first video because of his age wolves skulls grow for up to 5 yrs

    Thanks for viewing,

    Mike

  • Safe to say he is not a pure (true pures are few and far), but he is definitely one of the few real wolfier wolfdogs here on Youtube! Finally, lol! He has GSD somewhere, especially in those ears and his liver colored nose is not a wolf trait (unless he was inbred or has a health problem you don't know about). Either way, he is a very handsome animal and looks to have a goofy personality. And nice to see an actual wd video :) would love to see more of him.

  • This is a wolf. Eyes are amber/yellow. fur flares out on the sides of the head. snout narrow and prominent.

  • @ricta856, Those are not the only things to look for or consider. That is why so many animals are misrepresented and mislabeled as being wolves or having more wolf in them then what they really do (some don't even have any wolf at all)!

  • Ok, I have a question for you about your "pet wolf" .

Is that a hybrid ? Because real pure wolves have goldish eyes.

  • Look at the snout it is a wolf.

  • those dogs are boss as fuck

  • is it a hybrid or pure?

  • the roem of the skull doesnt look to much like a wolf skull

  • @sgt0pimienta LOL and You can tell this from a video......

  • Wolves don't have one blue eye & one brown eye. This is obviously not pure wolf.

  • @FriskyJumper I think you nee to relearn your colors his eyes are not blue....lol

  • those pets are adorable

  • how old did you get whe wolf

  • such a beautiful and majestic animal, i'd like to own one someday.

  • Oh god... I think my heart just skipped a beat - like when you realize you're in love. Such a beautiful animal.

  • psh german shepherd could fare fine against a full grown tundra wolf.

  • if you bred a german shepard and a wolf will it make a husky?

  • That wolf is gorgeous.

  • I really want a wolf... do you need a licence? I really REALLY REEEAAAAALLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY want a pet wolf! I think it would be awesum.

  • That is soo cool. Did you save him or her?

  • not robbing that house!

  • pet wolves and wolf mixes get kind of a bad rap. if you have it from puppy age, then it will grow up to act just like a normal dog other than maybe not listening to commands as well haha. i have a wolf mix and hes the most submissive dog ever. he laid down and let a chihuahua puppy climb all over him haha. he also loves people and isnt shy at all

  • @Emaster03 Yea they do have such a bad rep it ain't funny, I actually think more people would own pet Wolves and Wolf mixes over Dogs but with these dumb state laws and such requiring licenses and the states and countries that completely ban people from owning Wolves make it near impossible to own a Wolf. And from what I hear Wolf Hybrid and Wolf breeders are hard to find.

  • I think you are very lucky to have a pet wolf. That has always been my dream. I hope someday I find a wolf in need of a home. :)

  • does he show any signs of unusual temperment?

  • @WhiteWolf56765 what do you mean by unusual ? wolves are completely different than dogs.....so do you mean unusual for a dog or for a wolf?

  • @TheMikenealis i think he means has the wolf ever tried to eat your dog.. lol..

  • @AxEzAcEz MORE LIKE THE OTHER WAY AROUND......LOL

  • @TheMikenealis for a dog, like more aggressive behaviour (territorial behaviour)

  • @WhiteWolf56765

Wolves.....at least in captivity and as a lone wolf meaning I have no other wolves.... tend to be the opposite he is not aggressive at all over territory...extremely the opposite.........now where more aggressive behavior is associated with stuff he deems his...I E food, toys etc......in the case of the latter it is wise to have something to trade with him if he steals something from you . Just leave his food alone it serves no purpose to bother him while he is eating.

  • @TheMikenealis It is dangerous to let a pet think its the alpha-male.

  • They are both very beautiful.

  • looks like a dog <==8

  • @crystaljinasena Like Jim and Jamie Dutcher said filming a wolf is the hardest thing in the world to film. They go onto say that everything from setting to camera angles has to be perfect. They also said that at the end of the day some of the footage that they thought would be the best when reviewed looked like a bunch of dogs playing. That bunch of dogs was The Sawtooth pack!!!

  • that is a hybrid. it has snow-nose, a domestic dog trait. no pure wolf, tundra subspecies or otherwise, gets snow nose.

  • @RiCaN1234567890 You are correct about snow nose that is only in low level crosses. He does not have snow nose, he has what is called contact dermatitis from plastic food bowls. It had taken us a while to figure out was wrong he started developing it last summer. A change to metal food bowls fixed the problem.

  • @TheMikenealis to see his brother and sister goto big oak wolf sanctuary site and look at sampson and spirit under resident wolves they are his siblings.

  • How old is he ?

  • @blaa94 he is 2

  • omg he is beautiful....i have always wanted a pet wolf but never knew you could own one!

  • They're both so cute!

  • Did you get it as a puppy? Will you try to breed it?

  • @MegaAstrodude he was 9 days old

  • @TheMikenealis,

Wow. Reminds me of the book White Fang.

  • The black dog is high

  • They are very hard to get and you must have a permit to own one. They are a very difficult animal to work with . They are not at all as easy as their domestic counterparts to handle. stay tuned I will post more soon and give everyone tons of information on wolves!!!

  • your wolf is cute. is a wolf hard to get? do you need a permit to own one?

  • He is a pure.

  • So cute :D Is it 100% wolf, or hybrid?
