  • When I first heard this tune, I thought,"God damn, Diana Ross got her head out of her ass and reunited with The Supremes!" Alas, I was brought down to Earth. Nice tune, by the way.

  • @kja427 you don't need to say such vial idiotic things. Diana Ross is a lovely person, something you evidently aren't, you help no one.

  • @scubahunt Is that a reference to the line in the movie kill bill?

  • This song came out when I was in high school. It's on the 70s Show CD.

The Supremes influence was obvious. But their success was killed by disco. The "Sound of Philadelphia" only lasted a year - 1974. Ironic that Gamble & Huff - who wrote this, their only hit, were later indicted for plagarism - a common complaint about soundalike disco music. But this song, though pre-disco, wasn't - no drum machines. It really was the last gasp of the old Motown sound. The only survivors were the Jacksons.

  • Let's share some precious moments!! Is it the beginning or is it the end?? Tight verse. I love it!!

  • Wow... the woman in the middle looks like a black barbie.

  • Beauty,talent and class !

  • @79dawe "...ez a kezdet, vagy a vég...??

  • Love these girls and yes I think their voices were better than the Supremes, I never thought Diana Ross could sing.

Sadly I just heard the lady on the left died a few months ago.

  • FylthyBeest....and I respectfully agree with you. I had the pleasure of seeing both acts back in the day and they were both very good. I just feel like the Three Degrees had more going for them.

  • amo esta canción y a estas bellas damas, era tan solo un adolecente cuando la escuche por promer vez en una fiesta a la que mi invito mi amada amiga Alicia. que Dios te bendiga hermosa amiga. atte. Lennon itzcoátl

  • @itzcoatlrod !Ufffff Lady how many things! Is amazing looking back!!!

  • @EasyMusic36 best music of all time!

  • I don't know why people mention the three degrees in the same sentence as the supremes. There is no way that the supremes could match up to the three degrees who had so much more going for them. They danced better, sang so much better and much more gorgeous. Sheila is so amazing and beautiful.

  • @frankc3285 True on both counts. But, the Supremes simply had more hits. And, they were good.

  • Important matters they sing about! Happy new year!

  • shiela ferguson was so gorgeous and still is today !!! lucky man her husband

  • favorite song from bill xD

  • Are we in love or just friends...

  • I always thought Sheila was most beautiful of all...but Valleri was the sexiest..and the best dancer

  • :( mikor látlak újra??

  • They are even more beautiful in this video, if that is possible. Gorgeous.

  • i love this song

  • My first girlfriend sang this to me before she went out. She was killed by a drunk driver that night. She was only 16.

This song means so much to me even today. God how I love Black women! God bless you all

  • @cap280 i am so srry 2 here that

  • Hot ladies, I want one

  • angelic harmonies

  • Great song, great tits.

  • Prince Charles' favorite girl group - really!

  • It doesn't get ANY better than that. 3 times I've been hit for having a dropped jaw....once was my mother when I was in my pyjamas in 1975 seeing these queens. The other times were when I was a grown man.

  • oooooh oh ahhh ah precious moments lol

  • Love the melody. Thank you for uploading.

  • I remember watching the Three Degrees on Top of the pops performing this song. I was totally entranced by the beautful soulful sound that came out of the TV and mesmerised by the stunning Sheila Ferguson, she looks great here and still looks fantastic today.

  • Quite possibly the greatest song of the 70s (and that's no small claim). :) Love this live version...the only thing missing is her Diana Ross impression toward the end of the record (which I always get a kick out of).

  • Thank God she came to her senses. One of the most beautiful songs ever. Supremes ain't got nothing on these gals!

  • @toy824

The Supremes got nothing on this girls!!!! Amen to that.

  • This song reminds me of my First Love.We had on and off relationship.

On March 10, we had a dinner after a reconciliation. On our way home,

I asked him "When Will I See You Again?". With a laconic answer, he

said that was my favorite song. Little did I know that was the last time

we were together. Seven years after, I still keep on asking myself,

when our paths would cross again.

  • this video is proof that there's no need for pyrotechnics to put on a great show. take a note, kiddies...

  • Again, Amen to that. These are three of the Classiest Chicks you will ever see singing and dancing. Every time I hear them sing it takes me to Church.

  • 2: little is zealous because everything touches hearts

  • this is a beautifull song

  • 3 Digrees...............When will I see

  • love this song!!! one of my favorites

  • goodbye jenn

  • Driving nostalgia back in droves. One of my Sunday favorites back in the 80s! I can still recall the voices of Ngozi Ibegbu or Uju Anyaduba then at ABS, signing out with this or other sweet tunes.

  • U know what I just realized, in dreamgirls how the dreametts were made to immulate the supremes, I really believe that the dreametts performances were also inspired by these ladies, seein how they dance, and pose more than the supremes... This performance also looks exactly like the last scene in dreamgirls, check it out...

  • After the Supremes, these girls are my favorite. They are not only all beautiful, but they are also very professional and very talented. Excellent.

  • BE MY SON AND PREFERRED GROUP, wonderful voices and a sympathy ABSOLUTE, SOPHISTICATED LADIES AND TIME SO SIMPLE AND BEAUTIFUL, MY RESPECT TO THE MISSING AND THEIR ETERNAL REST, WILL BE BEAUTIFUL SINGING THEIR SONG FOREVER AND ALWAYS

  • i think so

  • Thats a fair question. Great looking ladies! And a helluva a song.

  • wow! a real singing group!

  • i remember this song when i was just a kid.,and since then until now the song just keeps coming back to my mind.

  • Nice performance. Great group.

  • which one is beyonce?

  • @pe1poot the all three!!!

  • Man, she's fine!! Super sexy!!

  • yes, precious moments.....

    when will i seethem again?....

  • Just fantastic, that's all! :-) Thank you.

  • Great live performance. I wish the audio could have been better but thank you for the post. These ladies look as great as they can sing!

    Tom

  • I'm not sure how deep the love you shared w/ her went. But, if you look within, you'll find the answer. Moving on doesn't mean you'll stop loving or remembering her. I feel for ya, man. If I lost my lady, it would be extremely difficult to move along. It's possible though. I know I'm getting off the subject here (which is this song). But, that's the power of a beautiful tune.

  • What would she want you to do??

  • sorry for your lost dude look toward GOD for help

  • hey sorry for ur lost but to be honest life goes on and im realy sure that she want u to move on and enjoy ur life i have a girlfriend that lives far from me and i wounder when will i see her again realy

  • live version is always better

  • my girl dont love me :'(

  • WOW theres no other words to say

  • Sorry to hear about your wife. I imagine xmas was tough, but new year, new beginnings. It's tough. Time doesn't heal, but you learn to deal with the loss better. The best way to honour your wife's memory is to be happy.

  • Sorry for your loss also.

  • It's clear you have a very strong love and your love will live on. She'd want you to live on and enjoy your life. God bless you.

  • Sorry to hear of your loss bro. Greetings from sunny Jamaica.

  • God bless you and your wife in heaven

  • that sucks sorry .. what did she die of if I may ask

  • I am so very sorry for your loss

  • aww...sympathy to you. she's in a better place now.

  • Beautiful song, priceless masterpiece.

  • so sorry to hear it -- grieve as much as you need to, reach out for comfort, and maybe in a year see if you are ready to move on - nobody can replace your wife, but you are still alive, and have a right to happiness - it could never be the same, but it will be the next chapter in your life, which is something to look forward to

  • Look to the Lord Jesus Christ!

  • THATS WHAT YOU CALL...."class" a fantastic song ,nowdays its just plastic fakes

  • @youacccunt your so right about that, men!

  • wunderschön !!

  • This was "our" song when we first met in 1974 - we both cried when we heard it again on the radio in June, 1998 - it was the last time we heard it together. He passed away 4 days later and I still miss him to this day.

  • I'm so sorry for your loss. Listen to this with his love in your heart.

  • Its really a special song. Sorry about your loss but the memories must be beautiful and rich. I wish I could have 24 years with someone I love - I am 38.

  • 天使のささやき最高!

  • those harmonies are on point!

  • Uma das 10 canções mais lindas que o homem criou.

  • Heerlijk, jeugdsentiment.

  • when you can't be part of the supremes, you just be a third of a degree :)

  • I love their evening gowns.

  • nice song......

  • Mm...mmm! Luv me some Three Degrees. :)

I remember they did an episode of Sanford & Son.

  • with "rollo" as their agent.

  • this song is mentioned in kill bill when bill drops beatrice off to pai mai, and she asks him when she will him again. haha nice one tarantino.

  • I love this song, I was there when it first came out. Thanks for posting

  • This is dedicated in loving memory to the sweet voiced Degree, Fayette Pickney. January 10, 1948- June 27, 2009. You will be missed, Faye.

  • This is what Sheila's say about the most suscefull song:

"Sheila Ferguson recalled that "the song was played to me by Kenny Gamble at the piano in 1973 and I threw a tantrum. I screamed and yelled and said I would never sing it. I thought it was ridiculously insulting to be given such a simple song and that it took no talent to sing it. We did do it and several million copies later, I realized that he knew more than me."

  • @EasyMusic36 That's what I love about Sheila, she's so honest!

  • @EasyMusic36

    Love your honesty!

  • great song and the woman in the middle is hot.

  • Women were women back then. They had mystery and were naturally feminine. There was nothing cheap or slutty about them. How times have changed....

  • @TomthatiscalledTom This is so true, and the young women of today don't have a clue..too sad

  • @TomthatiscalledTom yeah u r so right. i hate today's sluts.

  • @TomthatiscalledTom also, today's music is filled with a generation that glorifies thugery and many females think it's cool to be a bad boy. It makes me sick to have to put up with it. But the music in the 70's with Motown etc was never that way. It's difficult to find any purity in today's females, esp younger ones. My own kids surprised me by the things they did after they turned 18. My wife and myself were both very conservative when we were young. But not my kids.

  • @analiticaluser And the really tragic and pathetic thing is that the genuinely think they are being 'liberated' by copying all the worst aspects of bar-room, punk-ass males. I suppose it's a waste of time in pointing out that the drinking, drugging and slut behaviour can only have two results: they'll wise up and for the rest of their lives they'll be nauseated and ashamed remembering a wasted youth. Or they'll wind up in abusive relationships and with substance abuse issues. No equality then!

  • @TomthatiscalledTom You are absolutely right, and I agree 100 %.They also had talent and charm instead of cheap special effects.

  • @TomthatiscalledTom I was not born when this came out, but I agree with you wholeheartedly, and I am 26.

  • @TomthatiscalledTom oh my ya not wrong and im only 24 lol

  • @TomthatiscalledTom

Amen, Women were women back then all three of these ladies were classy and beautiful. If I may be bios for a moment...I think Valleri was the most beautiful. But an easy arguement can be made for either one. Oh, they are so great!

  • @TomthatiscalledTom

Oh c'mon Tom, these stunning women are no different to the sirens of today. The Three Degrees are probably the most beautiful and shockingly sexy women of all time. But look around at their stunning and shockingly gorgeous antecedents....Ofra Hazi, Shakira, even a white girl like Chrissie Hynde or the beauty of the voice of the most wonderful Joan Armatrading. It can't be compared to anything.

  • @TomthatiscalledTom sure were we aways wore nice clothing and wouldnt ever think of getttng off our heads like this lot of little idiots

  • @TomthatiscalledTom DAMN RIGHT! WOMEN TODAY ARE UNSURE WHETHER TO BE "LADIES" OR BUTCH AND STILL EXPECT TO BE RESPECTED?..........NOT!

  • @TomthatiscalledTom

Yes, time has changed. Not all performers and women are cheap and slutty, seek for what you wish to see.....the rest, ignore them.

  • Well of course she's hot, You'd be hot if you'd been singing and dancing for over two and a half minutes.

¿Estamos enamorados o somos solo amigos?

¿ Es este mi principio o mi final?

    ¿cuando te volvere a ver ? .....ADA

  • Gracias por traducir esta cancion a espanol. Thanks for translating this song to spanish

  • I was only 4 when this song got released... but to this day, its one of my favorites. Thank you for this awesome song!

  • the best!

  • This is got to be one of the top 10 love songs in pop history.

Pardon my ignorance, but which one is Faye?

  • Fayette Pinkney is on the left as you look in this clip, middle is Sheila Ferguson and right is Valerie Holiday, the "classic" line-up (they've had a few and Valerie is still going in TTD)

  • Thanks lukedean. I only knew them as a group.

  • God's speed Faye.

  • RIP Faye!!! too many too soon :(

  • I do not know if they were on the Motown label, but stylistically, this was one of the very last motown hits, just before disco took over. They were definitely a motown style act, standing in a row, dressed beautifully, singing harmonies to an orchestral backing. I remember listening to them on KHJ radio when I was about 11 years old, and loving them just as much as I loved BTO and Grand Funk. They were just beautiful and they sure don't make them like that any more.

  • Fayette Pinkney, a soul singer best known as a member of the Three Degrees, died Saturday, June 27th, from acute respiratory failure. She was 61

  • I heard on the radio that the lead singer passed away. This has been a weird week for Hollywood.

  • I was 3 or 4 years old when this came out and I remeber my teenaged baby setter playing this song over and over she was soooo hot. I love this song its so romantic words can not say enough. Thanks to these 3 lovely women.

  • A sensational & exquisite love song sung by, elegant women, which are a rare combination.., this love song compels a nostagia of the sweet 70's years. If I could relive it, I would! A fond MAHALO for posting. From, Maui No Ka Oi boy, E. Kahaialii.

  • from the days that black music was stylish, I must be getting old now / how absolutely gorgeous- thank you (in spite of the sound)

  • This is the best version

  • real pretty.

  • this video has a bad sound!

    Remember!

    Do you understand?

  • the one in the middle is beautiful and she can sing to
