I try not to hit them, but hydraulic relief protects against the really big things, small things make some dents and tear of a piece here or there. Since I built the blower and still have the patterns, it's easy for me to just make any new parts and weld them on.
Just use it for clearing around the house and an unmaintained county road out to the highway. I know it looks like a ski resort, but we are down in the valley @ ~3100' elevation.
The older one's were way better in the mud. They has a lower Ground Pressure then the newer ones do which made them float better in the mud conditions and perform better. If you can make some more videos of that machine I would appreciate it.
It's been a good machine for me. I've never operated the newer generations so I can't say how they perform in comparison. It does appear that the MD-70 & 2810's have more track on the ground than the newer models, and may be better in the mud?
