I always thought that shows like this and Campus PD use real kids, but is fake. The reason I think that is because I always thought they need to get those being arrested permission to use the footage or blur their face since it's an entertainment show. Judging by some of these kid's reactions, I doubt they'd get their permission. Maybe I'm wrong.

@Kid89Rave I watched an episode of it yesterday and im 90% sure it is staged by just how they act and shit. On shows like COPS where its clearly not staged, they usually offer money if they agree to allow them to show their face. The reason most say yes is because most of them are poor and drug users. So if this show is not staged then what i said for cops goes for this show but after watching it, it seems fake. It could promote bad behavior but the shows creator would rather make money.

@ilovemesomechicken I pretty sure that Cuff'd, Campus PD, and any police show on Tru TV is staged. Watching how some of these kids object to being arrested, I doubt they'd say, "Sure, put it on television." But the money thing has me disturbed if true. Say someone gets arrested for intoxication or disorderly conduct. Most times they carry fines, but no criminal record. It just seems to be awarding bad behavior.
